Those targetted are small ktvs, mainly within hotels and those rowdy places. The ktvs I frequent, like 天上人间，今日良缘，北方鑫柜 are all save and will be vibrant during the Olympic period.

If you are in Beijing and feel bored during Aug & Sep just called me or any of our SOCC bros in Beijing, we will party throughout Olympic. BTW, SOCC stands for Singapore OLYMPIC Cheonging Club.

You have choice to avoid Beijing, but many of our bros work and live here so bo bian can't avoid but join in the fun lor.

It is impossible to log on to the forum in China... I think it is being block. A short FR from 北方鑫柜. The hardware is there and I must said better that 金沙 but I find the MM is a bit off. Maybe I arrive late at 22:30 and all the good one are gone. Nevertheless, the business is good there even for the family KTV. My Beijing colleague promise to bring me to Rmb 100 category on my next visit and this might be quite fun. I spend 2 nights in Coco Banana and boys those people there can party... They party till 06:00 !!!! and sure, lots of nice MM.

We were informed that hotels in Beijing is not full during this period !!!!! Some even offer discount as their occupancy rate from the advance booking is only around 40%.

SOCC Party Calendar for July 2008

I have compiled a list of 16 selected ktvs from high end to mid range to budget ktvs.

For July, we will cover 5 ktvs/night clubs ranging from Cat 200 to Cat 400. So you can choose the ones that fit your time and budget.

8 July - 东方花园俱乐部 - Cat 300
10 July - 河湖 KTV - Cat 200/300
15 July - 凯富国际会所 - Cat 400
17 July - 北方鑫柜 KTV - Cat 200
22 July - 翠宫夜总会 - Cat 300

If there is enough interest, we can cheong Cat 500-700 ktvs also. Ideal size per group is 5-6 persons, max is 8. Please let me know early thru pm, email or sms which are the ones you are interested to join.

After each session, you will be invited to provide feedback and assessment on the places you have visited. I will compile the results and share with our bros for future reference. of course each person has his own preferences and likings. A bigger group's feedback will provide more balanced views.

Non-SOCC members are welcomed to join the parties. Please reserve your places early to avoid disappointments.

You will be invited to join SOCC after the session.

Bro Mark... I spend time in Hefei on monthly basis.. Their 300 cat is similar to 300 cat in Beijing leh... not cheap. I think the 300 cat in Nanjing is the best.. see through dress and no bra... gals are between 17 - 21.

Bro Mark... I want to exchange notes on this Cat 500-700. I used to hangout in Zhongfu which is Cat 500 2 years ago and the MM are very nice... but as time goes by... as usual, the quality go down. I never try Cat 700 but I heard No.8 club in Chaoyang park is good. I need to see how Cat 700 compare to others. FYI, have you try 金钱豹 in 王府井? The MM there is tall and full body. I was there last month.

Hi Bro, 8 号公馆 is a nice place. for cat 500 & above ktvs or clubs, it's easy to find nice girls. some of them are undergraduates, models, dancers or part time actresses. here, you can bodies but not difficult to find souls.

not all bros can afford to cheong these places frequently. you know, we are going 3-4 times a week, so budget may be an issue for some. if you go 3-4 times months then it's alright.

pls let me know when you are in town. some bros enjoy high end places and don't mind budget. we can cheong together.

SOCC FR for week 7-12 July

We cheong 河湖 ktv Cat 200，东方花园俱乐部 Cat 300 and 凯富国际俱乐部 Cat 400/500 this week. A quick FR on the various places.

河湖：this is a budget ktv, very cheap. girl quality reasonable 6/10, set up ok 6/10, price very good 9/10. each person only spent 200rmb for room and drinks, 200rmb for girl. take out 600rmb, overnight 800rmb. this is a good place to cheong if only few persons and dun want to spend much. good place to tabao girls - value for money.

东方花园: this is a mid range ktv. girl quality 6/10, set up 6/10, price reasonable 7/10. each person spent 350rmb for room and drinks, 300rmb for girl. take out 1000rmb, overnight 1500rmb. one plus point here is the girls are more daring and you can do some actions here. some bros went to this place 3 times this week, haha.

凯富: this is a high end ktv. girl quality 8/10, set up 8/10, price 6/10. each person spent 800rmb for room and drinks, 400/500rmb for girls. take out 2000rmb, overnight 3000rmb. this is a good place to bring customers and if you are looking for gf feeling. my girl dates me out to watch movie. but i was already booked by another girl from 天上人间, a very pretty undergrad.
