I've also personally witness people stealing while at Lowu / SZ immigration border while queing up at customs. One of my friends got his passport stolen..fortunately enough for him, he got a new one re-issued in 2 days....

Anyway, I hope brudders out there will not face these problems and do avoid the very crowded areas. Eg. Guangzhou Train Station.

I also carry my wallet in front....and u know lah those CB RMB notes are in so small denominations (100 max only) i literally carry stacks of it when i just arrive from singapore. I use a special money vest purchased from USA which is not available anywhere i checked and also a "hidden" type waist pouch which is readily available here....

Women carry handbags inf ront is because Guangzhou (and if I'm not mistaken, even SZ) is very famous for such crimes. Nowadays, the crooks, thieves, conmen etc in SZ, GZ and other big cities are not only from XinJiang... they come from all over China like Hunan, Heinan, Dongbei etc.... We just have to be careful with strangers who acted suspiciously....
