Bro PuTonRen
I believe we know what we meant by behaving ourselves in PRC.
So for those bros out there who seems a little confuse with Bro PuTonRen's remark. Just be a nice gentleman and behave in public. We do not own the place. Its their country not ours. We are just another "Lao Wai" even when we look Chinese and speak their language.

I am not an expert in teaching how one should be well mannered, in my humble way, I think you should not behave as it you own the place, talk loudly, stare at people, ..... With due respect, I am sure you know how to behave as a gentleman during those occasions that call for such manner.

Behaviour in China

Thank you Bro Shagman for the clarification.

I am glad that we are able to share our humble experience for the many years we spend in China. I have witnessed a case at Lian Ma Tower in Beijing. The man and his partner were questioned by the security at the lobby. The man started and the girl followed to argue heatly with the hotel security. A scene followed and what I knew was the Gong-An was called and the rest you know what happened...This scene occured right in front of my eyes.

Hope to meet up with you in Shanghai or Hangzhou during my next trip which will be soon.

WIth best regards

Sorry Ascott, didn't see your earlier post - welcome back to SH! I'm currently rather busy with 3 projects but I'm sure I'll have time to catch up with you again. By the way, that place (Wu Jiao Chang) which I was telling you about where I bought software at months ago....well, I went there again the other day and the whole damn place is undergoing reconstruction. Looks like the local govt has already started on their plans to convert this place into another "secondary commercial centre" like Xujiahui.

Harley, looks like you'll come back revitalised. What time will you arrive in SH on Friday? I won't be free on Sat to help you view some properties so please let me know how many days you'll be staying in SH before you fly off again. Thanks.

Thanks for yours and S69 advises.

We just have to employ the "soft" approach when in a foreign country.

So far, I have never been stop from bringing a gal back to the hotel. Even in those "cheap" hotels in the small towns. I do make a point to be "friendly" with the bell boy. They can be of great help esp. if it was the first visit. I got many good "lobangs" from them.

Lucky you do not Cheong.
Thanks, bro shagman for the concern. You're right of coz. I may have a safety net but it's still not worth the trouble extricating oneself from any "entanglement". Sometimes it's non-cheongsters who get into hot soup; for example, I've heard of true-life stories back in SG of how non-cheongsters who had all along resisted the urge to cheong ended up hitting the jackpot (STDs) on their first 1st visit to a pros (even though they wore protection during intercourse).

Like 4D, some people buy 1st time and strike whilst others buy their entire lives with nothing to sniff at.

That's life!

Behaving Ourselves

Hear! Hear! Bros Shagman and PuTonRen - that's the best advice I've read in this entire forum.

Sadly, too many Singaporeans go around with that "lan ci lan yong" attitude. Let's all always look at ourselves in the mirror more often.

Back in SG, when we see a cute local dame clinging onto the arm of an arrogant ang mo, we ask: "why, ang mo tua gi ah?". It's the same thing the local lads here will feel if we don't behave accordingly.

Let's discard any superiority complex - hence, to belittle IS to be little.

<<Hear! Hear! Bros Shagman and PuTonRen - that's the best advice I've read in this entire forum.>>

Hi Bro,

Thank you for the compliment! I am sure Bro Shagman69 also appreciates that you share our view. We are sharing, in our small and humble way, some experience that we had, so that our fellow country men would not get into unnecessary problems. Hope to meet you one day in Shanghai or Beijing.

With warmest regards,

FR for SHA and HGH

Me and Bro ST88 was all over the place during our last trip.
In HGH, we found a few nice and cheap places for us to hang out and pick up gals without much damage to our pockets.
In general, the gals are fine and lovely. Bro ST88 got hit eveywhere he goes, maybe its the honest, no nonsense look. Gals seems to like him everywhere.
Looking for him for breakfast and bringing along sisters and come for lunch. Really envy him.
We will be going for the pick ups on our next trip.
Since HGH XIN TIAN DI now open, quite a few activities were going on there.
By the way, there is this KTV Dong Fang Mei Li in HGH, lots of nice mei mei. Less than RMB1000 for the night.
Hope Bro PuTonRen will be around for our next trip.

Please state your budget.... Frankly, terms like "cheap" and "good" are rather relative. Btw, there're 2 wings at Holiday Inn, one cheaper and the other more expensive (obviously, haha).
