I have been there 2-3yrs ago. There is a guy name Cheok, normally he will wait at the ferry, I had lost his number & furthermore date going Public holiday, a lot of ti ko going.

Good Friday is not a holiday in Malaysia. So you can discount the Malaysian crowd.

So long demand is not tere, wi$e tamu will bargain. Cos u cant alter the supply. And most of the demand came fm Msia. Hopefully Good Friday indeed a Good Friday for u$ tamu.

Hi bros, I'm planning to go Balai this weekend. I've been there once before with a bunch of older guys in their 40's about 3 years ago. Stayed at a dump called Alisan Hotel. During that trip I did not leave hotel except for trips to Villa. All food was tapau by driver and entertainment was drink and play cards in the room. According to my companions it was unsafe to walk around town with our ceweks.

This time I'll be going with some friends, all of us in our 20's. Was wondering if there are any other stuff to do in town like massage and clubbing? Is it safe? Would really appreciate it if fellow bros could provide the names of places and estimated rates. Tq

Tat Alisan hotel CMI lah. U should be staying around "town" area where food, MPs and hotels all near to each other. Massage shops (MPs)? Teres MPs along the direction of Hotel Shangri La and opp the latter too. Clubbing? Forget it. Safe? Of course. Juz when in Rome do wat the romans do.

As I had oreidi forsee Btm gonna packed with Sillyporeans on Good Friday. So decided to go TBK cos Msia not having PH on Friday. Right choice indeed. Though some of the house not full with gals, but its sufficient for us. Total head count @ 160 gals at Villa tat morning cos some tamus RTF from Thursday boking. V2 was closed! Either called it a day or they combine with neighbouring joints.

Some hotels threw in their towels. Couldnt cover their overheads. But here we have "Ritz Carlton" of TBK raising room rates. All rooms upped by S$10. So cheapest Studio room now cost@ S$38. And nowadays u cant checkin (unless guest chk out earler which is very unlikely) early. Have to wait till 12 noon.

Bro , u mean all hotel in Balai raise their room rate or Maxi only ?
If room avliable still can check in early right ?

So far only Maxi. Some of their studio sms regularly booked fop mths by sm corporates. So studio unit u have to book in adv. As for early chk-in, it again depend wat type of rm u book. Studio or cheaper rm, very unlikely u can chk in early cos tamu normally dont chk out 1st ferry.
