I didn't have the photo in my office today,but will post photo later.

Solution : Next time go Batam need to use Power-surge-protector to power up my plugged in laptop. (rainy weather in Batam at year-end)

Hehehe...after 6pm Batam time,i wont go and look at XE again becos of its accuracy (after Indonesia office hour).

Over my 3 years of summary record,i was able to get at least once over the 12 months,a 10k rupiah/SGD in 2014,2015 and 2016...this year 2017,i highly doubt I will have a chance to see 10k rupiah/SGD.

Keeping my expectation low tho.

What did you plug in?? Hair dryer? I assume that a normal laptop power supply should not be considered "high power". It's on the order of few hundreds Watt.

A Singaporean man has been arrested in Batam for allegedly sodomising children, said a Straits Times report, citing local police sources.

According to a police statement on Thursday (12 October), the man, who is an entrepreneur, allegedly committed the offences between 16 and 24 September in the Nongsa area. Preliminary investigations revealed three victims, said the police.

The Batam police chief has urged residents to notify the police if they were to know of more victims.

If found guilty of sodomising children, the man faces a jail term of up to 15 years.
