Go to Dong Zhu An Bang rd, junction of Jiang Su rd very nearby to your hotel Mayfair hotel. There's a HC there, not too bad gals quality & services as mentioned here on this thread b4 in the past...sorry I cannot recall name of HC (Japanese name outside) though.....but it's just directly opposite the Metropole Service Apartments Hotel on Dong Zhu An Bang rd though...not to difficult to find......

Dear Fear,

Fear no more...

1st get a Zheng Ming Shu (verification letter) from your estate mgmt folks - those Wu Yeh fella

Then go to police station to register presence. Ask your estate folks where is the nearest police station. Pls bring along the lease agreement or that green book for home owner. Otherwise kana go back and get.

Finally go to 1500 Min Sheng Rd in Pudong, 3rd floor get a queue number to extent your visa. Operating hours - Mon to Sat 9 am to 5 pm. Pls do not go between 11.30 to 1.30pm - their lunch time lah... only two counters working. Sorry, forgot to ask them for the phone number.

Need to take your colour photo at the ground floor - 30yuan if you don't have one.

Then fill up the "VISA AND RESIDENCE PERMIT APPLICATION FORM"

Collect the passport about one week later for a one month extension

More than one month here? ... repeat process for the 2nd month extension

After that... any brothers here know how to extend somemore i.e need to stay more than that 2.5 months (1st 14 days visa free in China for Singaporean)? Also anybody here have the tel number of 1500 Min Sheng Road to share?

Thatz my experience for my kawan who stayed more than 14 days here.

BTW, there is the counter for all the overstayer... No Fear!
