Good morning bro DYBJ.
Perhaps I should have elaborated a little more. What I meant was that I am still dealing with my sudden mood swings. Images flashed through the mind, the good and beautiful times we spent together and then slowly the not so good memories, all the lies and hurt that still make you a little upset. I have been able to deal with these mood swings pretty well nowadays. But without being hurt in the first place, there won't be any mood swings at all.

That's why I said one can never be the same, after what we have been through.

Precisely, originally when you are smitten, you are doing this with your heart and got hurt in the process. But now, after all those hurt and to protect yourself from being hurt again, you are playing the game with your brain.

My sincere apologies if my post comes across as crude. I hope to bring out an alternative way of seeing things.

To me, based on what you say, there are many many questions or unexplained incidents that you cant find an answer to, thus preventing you from getting that closure you need from moving on.

Bro DYBJ, I have since moved on. I'm able to face her without any hatred or love, but only find her pathetic (Btw, she was caught and deported)

Bro WH, thank you for your concern and I appreciate all the brothers here who are giving advice and sharing their experiences.

I have already found a solution, that is to face her head-on if she comes back. I'm very certain that she will, and will try to contact me when she does. I have stopped contacting her for almost 4 months. Seriously speaking, the best way to deal with this is head-on, rather than trying to run away from it.

Bro DYBJ is right, guess I will not know now, since her physical presence is not here yet. But trust me, I am confident. Do you know why? I have completely detached myself from the emotional aspects from it. I am a Cancerian by the way, and crabs are known to build defenses around them when danger lurks.

Last but not least, if there is ever a tinge of wavering, I know who and where to turn to.
