I'm motorseow starting from daytona gang always gather at newton circles...later to rothsman gang at jalan bukit merah hang around cathey cinema always cheong with yamaha. Soon join Sibumi gang combined with yamaha, swallow and winter fire all 4 group race at aeroplane road ( lim chu kang ), one drop of water at tanjong pejuru, loyang way ( dead end ), old upper thomson rd. Later stage join Moon at jalan bukit merah and queen street. Now retired. Girls as usual all lians, saloon, LSB.

I've seen several injuries among these motorsiao and I've enjoy them especially when they are still conscious and moaning in pain... that's why I also call it the "good old days".

Unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky to see any fatalities... or else it would be the "best old days".

Riding a M/Cycle is already risky. The higher the speed the more dangerous it becomes. One small mistake on your part or on another motorist's part could prove fatal to the rider.

The higher the speed the more dangerous it becomes. But to do it at high speed while being chased by TP would be even more dangerous as the adreline in your bloodstreams are built up.

Just to share with you riders out there.

This morning I was involved in an accident at the slip road of Pasir Ris turning right into Loyang Ave at 0850hrs.

I was next to a M/Lorry, which was about 3 metres behind me. When the traffic was clear for me to procceed, I was turning right when the M/Lorry also started to turn. His fornt left side collided into me and as a result, I fell. Hiis front left wheel went over my left foot. I am conveyed to Changi Hospital by ambulance. Luckily for me, there was no fracture on my foot except for swelling and abrasion all on my right leg. I was given 2 weeks' Medical Leaves.

Therefore, I urged all M/Cyclists to be on extra alert and other Motorists to keep a look out for the M/Cyclists. Please spare a thought for each other and the road would be a safer place for all of us.

Cheri,,,, last week Thursday I was also involved in a very minor RTA,,,, no injury at all,,,,,,, just the rear brake and rest (On the right side) was damage.

That lady really f---king dame 'chew cheng' kia,,,,,,, I was riding very slowly (cos already red light) from my lane toward right side cos need to turn right,,,, this lady die die squeeze forward and had a slight push (not great impact),,,,, such I also fall in very slow motion,,,,,, we then exchange nos... The next day I sms her to check what her decision,,,, she reply have to check her damage cost,,, actually her damage is just some minor scratch mark on the front left bumper...... My damage also not expensive lah,,, i think less than $100 ...

Last night I sms her again,,,, but she never reply.... Now I am thinking of lodging a report and make sure she get summon for that..... cos thru the impact, it is a comfirm case whereby she hit me..... Should I lodge 168 and put record purpose or lodge 401?

Firstly, Members of Public cannot lodged NP 401 anymore unlike last time.

Secondly, since there was no injuries sustained by either party, TP would not investigated even if you have put up a NP-168 as it is considered a minor accident.

You still have the right to lodged a NP-168 for record purposes. If you want the TP to take action, add pepper and salt to the report and make it that the lady was either driving inconsiderately or dangerously. TP would do investigation as its consider a serious offence under RTA.

That was last time. That's why I said that you have to "modified" your version of the accident.

Nowadays minor accident TP would not investigate.

There are basically three types of classifications for road traffic accidents.

01) Minor Accident
02) Major Accident
03) fatal Accident

Minor Accident
Accident that had occurred but neither parties substained any serious injuries are classified as Minor Accident. Traffic Police used to consuct investigations into this type of accident previously. But they have stopped to investigate such accidents. however, if the accident involves any Govt vehicles, they will still do the investigations. All minor accidents are to be reported to the vehicle's insurer and to send their vehicles or assessments at IDAC.

Major Accident
Accidents that involved either parties been seriously injured and required to be sent to hospital for treatments will be classified as Major Accident. Traffic Police would do the investigation and would charge the person that has likely to cause the accident.

Fatal Accident
Accidents that involved either parties has been killed as a direct result of the accident will be classified as fatal Accident. Traffic Police would do the investigation and would charge the person that has likely to cause the accident.

In any accident, it is advisable to lodge a Road Traffic Accident Report(NP-168) in any Police Station, NPP, NPC or TP within 24 hours. YOu have to bring your NRIC, Driver's License and a copy of your vehicle's insurance.

Minor Accident
Please move your vehicles to one side before settling and not settle there in the middle of the road.

Major Accident/Fatal accidents/Accidents involving foreign vehicles
Do not move the vehicle and wait for the Authorities to arrive.
