No choice made my way to RWS instead. Turned out to be a good decision and worth the overnight stay

Plan to go MBS on this coming Sat ... however will not drive there. Will be taking a direct bus there

Hi Bro, they should have 5 basement instead(during construction, the diaphragm wall went as deep as 60m). and i believe they should have only max 4000 carparks.

But Marina Bay is going to replace Raffles Place as the centre of the CBD. A lot of big banks and law firms have taken up space at MBFC. The spillover effects of seminars and meetings (MICE) will be huge. If my overseas boss comes over, I will hook him up at MBS. He can stay at Banyan Tree, go gamble in his free time and then come down to the convention hall for meetings. Not to mention that the regional headquarters is a five min walk away in MBFC. How can RWS compete in this aspect?

My friends signed up the $2k membership yesterday. For some reason, they said the hall is much bigger and classier. RWS's design is so cheena and 80s. Everything must be loud and bombastic. Not classy at all.

I thought so ... if you are refering to the hotels car parks.However they advised us to take public transports as car parks in the casino are limited and $8 per hour !

Btw ... i was told by the security at the casino car park entrance that the car park was full.

It remains to be seen if any of the really large conventions places are ever fully taken up to their CAPACITY x 5. As i remember, barring huge scale events such as IMF, IISS, World Bank or other such, Suntec, RCCC, Shangri-la etc etc always have lots of space left over. > . >

Hello high rollers. How much are the respective cuts of the winnings dat MBS and RWS split with our Singapore Government? How many years are the respective casino licenses granted to Genting Sdn Bhd n Las Vegas Sands? After they both expire, they can be renewed or the Singapore Government can take over running them, right? MBS' angmoh boss estimates dat MBS will break even in 5 yrs. I wonder if he has Mafia connections.

The croupiers in Macau are the most rude according to 1 of my relatives who visited Macau.

Just a word about the jackpot machines. I was told there r 3 containers in each jackpot machine. 1 container collects coins for the Singapore Government, the 2nd for the casino n the 3rd for the winnings. Coins will gradually fill up all 3 containers. Only then will the person playing strike a JACKPOT! Any comments?
