Yup, you can finally join the club as if you had read some of my older post as I had posted many times the benefits of having to use the Citi ATM in AC.
Yes, thks to ur tip, I m holding GZ n Spore citi bank card.
GZ citibank card allows me to withdraw from any 4 big banks' atm in GZ without charges, so very convenient.
Not only do you come out slightly ahead with the rates as it will be based on the intl exchange rate at the time of withdraw (Zeny will charge a very small commission as they need that to stay in business).
I think the lousy rates given by Philipines money changer for Chinese Yuan plays a part in my case. I think the case will be different for SGD.
But as I had posted before on this, the main benefit (and the ONLY reason I do this) is that I don't need to carry too much cash entering or leaving the country. All I need is my ATM card (and little bit of cash for backup) and also my credit card (for real emergencies when all else fails--remember that ATM cards can fail when you need it most). All the cards can be replaced but not the cash.
Apart from carrying too much cash, I feel it is also not very safe to put them inside the budget hotel safe. Some of the reception safe deposit box can be ply open with a just screwdriver though they say 24 hrs personnel at counter which i doubted.
Besides Citibank atm cards, I also carry another 2 cards w 银联 logo just in case the citi atm fails. Some cash n a card will be kept in my anti theft underwear.
I don't carry my credit card , I feel it's a risk for a loneranger.
I know, some have said the walk to Citi ATM is too long and too hot etc etc. But those that knows me will also know that it will be a good excuse for my daily stroll (walkabout).
The only time I don't walk for that distance is the hot weather cause i don't want to have sweat odour when w a girl.

Remembered I bought a pack of Arithzomax at AC 3 capsules 500mg for 430p.
Yesterday I check out at the China drugstore a pack 10 capsules 250mg for 20 yuan that is abt 140p which is 30% of AC prices.
I wonder how the sick who are poor survived in AC based on their meagre earnings.

When you visit a doctor in a hospital, you get consultation and referred for tests if necessary. Prescription is given for you to buy meds and if injection is needed, you bring the med to the doctor who will jab you.

Depends on which pharmacy u buy from...... I bought from Generics at 128p per tab so total is 128 x 3 = 384p

Overall medical treatment is expensive here not just the drugs....... I saw they have instant HIV test kit on sale at the pharmacy and is priced at USD$80.00 !!! How many pinays can afford it? Here it is retailed at only Sgd$54.00
The only exception is the dental charges....... they are relatively cheap compared to Singapore prices.
Tiger hotel=ok location,near feilds some great bar like insomnia,bunny raunch and brown sugar to check it out.
Hana hotel =small cosy but little old hotel in perimeter waking distance to candy bar,det 5 etc tue cheapest barfine in town but a dead zone after 10 pm.
Central park,right in the smack of action( feilds ave) 24 hours entertainment available at some bars.perfect location for a 1st timer.
Dm hotel.not recommended.location out.
May I also suggest walkabout hotel(if u can get a room)pretty new.1500p less 10%if paying by cash for standard room.right in the middle of action,feilds ave orbr ziebart lobang Clark star.walking distance to feilds ave,starting from 680economy room with free puck up/send off to Clark airport and daily free breakfast for one,
I stayed at central park. Good location. There are still beggars in the short 50m walk Btn fields ave and hotel. But safe.
Good service in hotel security is good. Gals cannot leave unless they can give yr name or you call reception to release her
Get the USD$3 more rooms. They are on ground floor and toilet renovated with tub. The level room std room toilets are a disgrace. The room only have one small "window".

I want to try to solo trip to AC first time, is it advisable? Seen like there is a casino near to fields ave, call casino philipnos, they play using USD?
Read last few pages is there still raids going on there?
Plan to go during mid of end of may as ticket are cheaper via Cebu pacfic.

No free pick up service, but can be arranged for PHP400. If you step outside and get a taxi for yourself, it will cost PHP300. Don't let the taxi counter hustle you if they charge more. Just tell them you are a regular and going to meet your girl at the hotel, and you know it cost PHP300 as this the amount you been paying for years! that kinda story...
If you want to book, you can email them directly, or go to their FB page. They respond rather quickly. I know the recep is online almost daily!

Cheong solo is no problem. Just make sure you read more than last few pages. Go back about 50 to 100 pages can get very good info. Now until end may is long time so enough time to read lah.
