Talking about betting, I remembered when I frequent petain in my younger days armed with 10 dollars.

I knew I can't afford And in those days there are gambling tables and I would use my only ten dollars to gamble.. And I was lucky most of the time, winning up to 40 dollars I will leave the table.

Going for a fuck at 30 dollars, buy cigrettes and have a nice dinner.
