I know of Elios and Blue Diamond. Best if guest friendly.

These are street food dim sum. Dun expect to have the real ha cao taste. More flour than prawns and meat. Nice snacks if hungry.

don't get blue diamond if you plan to bring girl back. Most 2 stars are GF friendly, some 3 stars also. A&E is, Google is your best friend.

In my experience the best 3 star hotels near ben thanh that i've stayed are;

A&Em phan bo - $50+
A&Em signature - $60+
A&EM corner - $70+
Alagon Western -70+ (not really worth it imo)
Cap town - $45+
Luxe - $35+
the use to be called An An hotel 50+ (bui vien) $45+

Does anyone know of a 4 or 5 star hotel that are guest friendly in D1?
I emailed caravelle hotel and they apparently are no longer guest friendly.
I also visited new world and the pullman hotel in the past and both said guest required either a fee or another room.

Just sharing on my trip.

Airport - took Grab and cost me about $5sgd
If by taxi should be about $8-9 sgd if going to district one.
I only took vinasun taxi. Quite easy to recognise .

Stayed in paradise Saigon .
A one yr old hotel opposite new world hotel where the famous cat walk is found.
This hotel is priced at about sgd $70-150 depending on room cat .
If you have a lady , the joiner fee is usd 25 .
The breakfast is reasonable and the rooms are well designed and clean.
Convenient location to explore district one and Ben than market.
Can change money at the Two gold shop opposite Ben than.
I think one Sgd was to 16200 dong .

Catwalk - LT is usd 250-300
If you get a small room for 2-3 Bros, minimum spending is usd 200 which u can hit by getting a bottle or ordering food etc.
The gal don't butterfly and tip to the gal is 500k dong and sitting fee to the company is 550k dong . Only the fee to the company can be used to hit the usd200 minimum spending . I settled the tip to the ladies in cash . They r fine to accept usd too.

The mummy told me the gal can only leave after 1230am if u r going to

Clubs --- I explored glow sky bar
Drinks not cheap , about $18-20 sgd nett. But great view and nice vibe.
Spotted some WL but most of the crowds are expat.
Small pocket of VB who didn't look like WL. I find WL tend to be more discrete here.

Apocalypse---- this is pretty much in your face . I heard the going rate is about usd 150-200 for LT .

IMHO, the quality can't match catwalk .

Day Time - spend most of it walking and cafe hopping .
