Well, that has never happened before, the airports have always been regarded as sacrosanct. I expect order to be restored this weekend.

We had a session yesterday, and another sub managed to fly in yesterday for a 15 hr session today, One more sub is in Cambodia and is supposed to fly in today for a Saturday session - that one remains to be seen. My point is that where there's a will there's a way.

This situation is an anomaly. I have been here 20 years and this is the first and only time. The protesters, who are more like wannabe revolutionaries, have overstepped their bounds and will shortly pay the price.

Meanwhile, ignore CNN etc.

CJ was never out of business or anywhere near that. Every session scheduled in late November-early December (during the week when airports were shut) has now happened.

A few were delayed by a couple of days. One sub came in overland from Cambodia. Another was stuck in India (no fun after Mumbai) but will be here for session tomorrow - he arrives in Bkk today. Another came in on a Taiwanese airline via Phuket and the U Tapao military air base.

The airports are now back to nearly full capacity/ In the end there was no coup and the protesters left quietly. They actually achieved bothing, as the PM was removed not by their stridency but by the action of the Constitutional Court which dissolved three of the government coalition parties for electoral fraus dating back to Sept 07 - a case that was started long before PAD occupied Government House.

PAD now faces billions in lawsuits for damages, along with criminal prosecutions, and all major foreign embassies are demanding the security at the airports be greatly strengthened so that there can NEVER be any repeat of this unprecedented stupidity.
