last week the exchange rate at the counter next to walkabout for RM was 13.35

AC Update

Both Centauro (3 pm-6 am) and Muse (3 pm-4 am) are open early. Monsoon has always opened at 3 pm and has a HH to 6 pm.

Dancers at Centauro wear bikinis, but the carousel wasn’t working. There’s at least 1 really desirable dancer there.

Voodoo’s HH now runs from 3-7 pm. Shooterz’s goes all day from Sun-Wed.

Hollywood’s HH drinks are only P65. It’s open from 2 pm-2 am with the 2nd shift starting at 5 pm. On Saturdays only, the dancers wear “sexy” dresses. Other days, it’s hot pants.

Color has recently built a glass stage on top of the existing stage. This might be the first see-thru stage in AC. The dancers like to lie down and writhe around on the upper stage.

The Blue Nile is now a Mexican restaurant called Taqueria Real.

Half of Black Pearl had been turned into Tik’s Sari-Sari store.

Half of the bar in Orange Inn has been turned into a beauty salon. The bar is called Perfect Life.

Shadow is still closed.

Sky Trax was closed for at least 1 nite, but reopened on Saturday.

The lady’s local single drink price in some bars has been raised to P160.

No use going to Champagne early as the girls report to work when they feel like it. They are practicing special dance routines in the afternoon for their anniversary next month. Forgot how many years it’ll be but I know they’ve been around for as long as I can remember.

The British owner of Red, Q and Zippa bars has bought the whole building where Lancelot used to be and renamed it Kings Landing. He also owns the restaurant on the 2nd floor. The whole area in front has been turned into a Muay Thai boxing arena, making getting around Fields Av very difficult.

If u go to Camelot and the girls look different but same same, ur right. The dancers are almost completely different except for the real cutie, but they look familiar because Camelot and BS next door did a wholesale swap, from the manager to the mamasans, waitresses and door girls. At least one mamasan stayed at BS. Apparently they were down on the number of girls working at BS.

Genesis is still the place to go late nite. Many girls. The place was packed even at the 3 am closing time, so the dancers had to keep dancing. The big disappointment is that they got rid of the bikinis and now the dancers wear hot pants. Supposedly bikinis cost a lot of money to make/buy, but wonder if there’s another reason for the switch. The bikinis were a lot better, IMHO.

AC is having a mini heat wave. The A/Cs in some go go bars can’t keep up. Tight Jeans was really warm inside. Not much rain to speak of.

The city went to great effort to beautify Walking Street, and now the pavement and sidewalks are already chipped and breaking up, creating a public hazard and looking shabbier than before.

Hotels are offering good deals. For example, the Orchid group is giving a 25% discount for Sept if you pay the bill in cash.
