They accept S$ to Kyat? What the current rate? I am actually staying at Sedona.

I exchanged USD but I am sure they take SGD ... best is to "let your fingers do the walking" ... i.e. : use the telephone & call them for rate BEFORE heading over !!

SGD is accepted at money changer. Rate is about 700 kyats per sgd.

New link from Changi Airport to Myanmar's financial capital, Mandalay

Business and leisure travellers from Singapore now have a direct link to Mandalay, the financial capital of Myanmar.

Golden Myanmar Airlines has launched daily services between the two points, via Yangon. Currently, Singapore Airlines, SilkAir, Jetstar Asia and Myanmar Airways International, the other carriers that fly between the two countries, offer services only from Singapore to Yangon.

Singapore is Golden Myanmar's first international destination, said the airline's managing director, Mr Aung Gyi. Coupled with Changi Airport's strength as a well connected aviation hub, "it was not a difficult decision" for the airline to pick Singapore as its first destination outside Myanmar, he said.

"We plan to utilise Singapore as an extended gateway into Myanmar's leading commercial cities and we also hope to reach other parts of Asia from Changi Airport," he added.

I would say it is a bit quiet place, but near to China town and not bad.
Ask the hotel staff direction for feel relax restaurent (or search at google map). It is actually in walking distance, only 5 mins. Beside the shop, there is a hotel name MGM. Nice ktv there, I think they have chinese speaking girls also. Beside MGM hotel there is a masaage, But never been there.

Wow the place is not a cheap place..Sedona cost us US$320.00 per night. Simple meal at restuarant for four adds up to US$120.00...don't know how the locals survive...

Thanks bro xxkylint for the direction. I also know of the mgm massage thru the bell boy and went to try it last night. It's traditional myanmar massage which is even more pain than thai massage. 1 hr only 2500 kyats, but only for ppl who can take pain. Decent massage, nothing else.

As for girls, you can ask the bellboys to arrange for you to the hotel, but was quoted 70usd. Din try in the end since I'm more of a massage person.
