the bro who booked 6pm slot was informed of the change in advance, so why should was i (the bro who booked 7pm slot) not informed in advance too? he could have informed all bros who had advance booking at one shot, really puzzling...

3. I FELT LIKE A MONKEY

on friday night i wanted to book the saturday 6pm slot but was told it was already booked, and was asked to book the 7pm or 8pm slot. never mind, with another bro directly before me, nothing will go wrong, so i book the 7pm slot.

i cancelled other plans i had, spend 1 hour of time and energy and $3+ of travel fare going there (no drive and live far away, take long mrt trip from northwest to lavender then walk hundreds of metres to the hotel), spend $20 on hotel, go toilet (urgent call of nature, after hour-long travel).

by the time bro sprutgetz say sorry she cannot travel to me, already past ten minutes. anyway, hotel allow ten minutes for you to change room (eg aircon not working) not refund.

lppl spend another hour of time and energy plus travel fare to go home. total wasted stuff: one evening of time and energy plus about $25 of cash.

4. WHAT BRO SPURTGETZ SHOULD HAVE DONE

true that he does it for free to help the gal, but even free service must be rendered professionally (try volunteering your service at old folks home and you will understand). so he should not talk about his lack of "motivation" at all.

what i lost in time and energy he cannot compensate i can understand. i also do not travel to the new place because that i do not drive, i will need at least half hour to travel to new destination, and i do not want to affect the later bookings of other bros.

as for the $ i wasted, i do not expect him to pay me back because he does it for free (but if he is man enough to face his mistake he will know what he should do and not just say sorry).

like i said, i do not expect him to compensate anything since he does it for free. however, if i were to make such a mistake, i will at least be man enough to face my mistake and make financial compensation (time and energy cannot be compensated, of course), not just say sorry since sorry no cure. so i repeat "if he is man enough he will know what he should do" not pretend not knowing what he should do.
