In fact most hotels do require IDs when checking in, it's the govt regulations. I thought Hotel 81's membership cards no longer in use, just produce your IC can liao?

i once had the card, with all the good information on it. it just go without the deposit with it. now no more such card and ur info are in their database. so people work there know who are the regulars, ha ha ha.

There is a brand new Hotel 81 at Lavender St and Balestier Rd. The so called "VIP" card is no more and hotel recept just scan your IC barcode against their database.
