Her parentage reveal that her mum is Japanese? And this case involves Japanese?
Also, she is trained by pioneers, even thou trained since young. She couldnt be
That young and neither that old. Lynn seems to be a milf and at the right age.

For Lynn
1) A retired agent turned doctor
2) As a doctor, she cuts off a agent patient's dick - this takes some guts and courage
3) Her Japanese connection somehow forces her to resume her Jane's identity to help the Japanese couple
4) A retired top agent cum current doctor who knows everyone so well, and with a Colonel as a husband turning against Owen, this indeed calls for drastic action by calling his whole crack team

If you read the Beast within, Edward Fernando Chan is 3 different person.
The one that appeared earlier is Chan and Edward appeared in the Beast Within. So now we are left with Fernando, which Col James was chasing at the end of the other story.
