ya he is quite good n saw highlights btw Birmingham & Chelsea. he played quite well even tot jus came in with 15mins left....and 1 angle shot saved

He is a quality player but I reckon Moyes has intention to use the money to buy Fernandes. Lets hope we do not miss out a second time!

Transfers News

Everton are keen on Portsmouth midfielder Sean Davis.

Everton are ready to offer £2million for Portsmouth midfielder Sean Davis.

David Moyes has Boro winger Stewart Downing in his sights to replace James McFadden at Everton.

Chelsea midfielder Steve Sidwell will snub a loan move to Sunderland and could join Everton or Portsmouth.

Sean Davis looks more like a squad player than the extra spark we need to bring us closer to a major title. Stewart is the most over-rated England player at the moment. Sidwell looks like a good buy - at the price of nothing. I suspect Chelsea will overprice him just because he is a Chelsea player (branding).

I personally like the prospect of Hutton patrolling Everton's right defence but the fierce bidding may make the this purchase commercially unviable. We really need a glavanizing character in the team now to really make a serious push into the EPL elite but I see no suitable candidate so far.
