90s? I started out KS in the early 80s and then damaged for ang pai only 50...back then in its heyday the street was simply bustling with WL criss crossing the street moving from one house to another..

Bro, at that time the max is Cat50 with $20, $30 for more mature/less

I have been to KS in the early seventies a period when you need to be recognisable before the asam(amah) there will let you in. In other words you need to be a familiar face or you tag along with some one familiar.

yeah i first started out in 80 and than it was only Cat 30 or Cat 50...I remember than it was like "Ngm Chong lok sui" or CAT 50 FJ..those were the days brings back so much memories just talking about it...

That would have to be in the 60s cos when I started cheonging KS in the 70s there was oredi Cat50 for the top range WLs. They were mainly patronised by the big towkays who would steal over from their hui kuans nearby.
