1. S$700 for what you quoted, i think its around there. I'm assuming its 10 USD per shot x 12 shots per round x 3 rounds = 360 USD. And 10 USD per drink, per balloon = 60 USD. Add in taxes maybe 20%? Convert to SGD.

2. 90% of the girls in such bars do not got for tabao. Of the 10% that do, most are older girls and you must be very handsome (most probably white too).

That area is quite expensive. That said, you were slightly overcharged. Based on your number, if correct, generally about 500SGD. Plus some tips to the girl. It's possible to tabao, you have to be smooth enough and know some Viet. But not really worth the price generally. No need to be white. More than likely you get nothing if you're white. You have better chance looking Korean.

There were many feedbacks in FB on those illicit bars around Pasteur road...you are charged S$700 which is around 13 mil dong...this sounds correct becos some were charged around 10 to 20 mil for a few drinks...

Those gals who accompany you to drink will never go with you for sex...there had seen enough men who bough gifts or cash for them...the gals will play hard to catch...knowing you are foreigner with no return date then why they want to go with you....unless the price is right which maybe around 30 mil to 50 mil per shot....some guys willing to pay these prices...

There was news that a Sinkie guy paid US3k to bonk a model in Ho Tram...was raided and caught in the act...

He didn't mentioned what exact qty for the "couple of balloons". But if 60 usd per balloon, thats crazy. even hcm ktvs do not charge that much for a single balloon... probably 350k vnd/ea iirc?

with that being said, you probably might score better if you head to bars in/near japan town.... at least the chance to "ta bao" is higher imo for the same amount (if not lesser) spent. cheers~

i just assumed "a couple", which is like 2 and at 10 usd each before taxes.

spending $700 is very normal at Pasteur Bar, I and friend 1-2 times drinking there until 20 mils Dong pernight,of coz we played so crazy sucked all our table girls nene and suck their tongue like the Jap movie...haha

Not entirely true, especially in the touristy areas. I bought fruit from street seller. Completely different price and I told them. I even said I go to next seller and they said ok, go. Next seller wouldn't sell at local pricing either. Also, Ben Thanh market even fleeces their own people. Girl from Hanoi said same shit is different price at Dong Khoi. Anyway, it wasn't expensive and I didn't really care, but I was glad they did it to their own people at lesser markup. I got a girl from HCM to buy my fruit for me... it was sliced, peeled and fed to me at 1/10 of the price I was quoted. I'm sure she kept the change.
