following Bro SGPShanghai69 on 巨鹿路,
there is a short row of pubs along that stretch. looks challenging from the outside. it is like a MS away from the buzzing sounds & lights of this great city. though it is unlikely for SH pubs to blackmail nowadays, always ask for the drinks menu b4 u order, unless you know the people inside. there are drinking femates willing to play dices and drink with you. as for da-bao, you have to check it yourself. the drinking femates are not for da-bao as far as i know (could be wrong) but there are working gals there too. mostly gals there are from other provinces you might find a jewel among the stones.

if not sure, tell the taxi driver 延安路-铜仁路 酒吧街... they shld know. there are a number of pubs. some are upstairs and i think those on ground floor with a view inside alri good enuf. Remember the rule of streets - what that is hidden better to stay hidden.. if u know what i mean. Blue Frog is a nice place since they are usually ABCs patrons, english speaking waitress (in case ur mandarin is not strong). and its a nice place you might get lucky on a quiet night. the rest of the bars hv bar femates who will make sure you are not a good drinker after all. they drinks like a fish... most of them. though i hv seen them in horizontal state. its a nice stretch and more open than 巨鹿路 so it it kindda safer also. i like that place.

one more place to go okie? ZAPATA (衡山路-东平路) its next to Sasha - Red color building
Remember your dance moves from the disco days? well, here is the chance to re-live that all over again.
you only go there on a wednesday (ladies night). be there before 9pm to guarantee a seat. (sounds familiar?) get some beers (Corona - 45, Buds - 40) and hang around. the gals gets free tequila sunrise on wednesday night. the best spot is at opposite end f the entrance. actions will start after 10pm. u probably had your second bottle of beer by then. and if you are "happening" and fun to be with, then the bees will be attracted. there are dinosaurs walking around asking you to buy drinks - ignore them. catch a few glances here and there and zero them. there are patrons too so u wouldnt want to mistake them as working gals. i m always amazed by the gal-guy ratio in SH, its always enuf to go around so dun hv to fight among brothers. the party usually ends around 1am by then the crowd will thin, etc... so if u are still holding to your beer at 1am, then u might want to try agian next Wed.

Glad to found some bros that shares the same cup of tea. Commercial Cheonging had become rather of a bore to me nowdays and hunting for a gem "non-commercially" is a new challenge.

Got lucky couple of years back when my friend in SHA brought me to a pub with barmaids and sometimes you can never believe your luck. One night there, hooked up with a not-bad looking barmaid, brought her for supper, sent her home like a gentleman. But....second date for breakfast and the rest was history. She was not a working lady, came to my hotel everynite for a whole week! Just some dinners and some gifts in exchange for a really good time each time I return to SHA. too bad the feelings sizzled after my non-committal attitude.

Returned to the commercial cheonging due to too short stays in SHA ever since.

Hopefully the new recommendations will bring me some new leads....

A very thorough intro on Zapata's Bar! You must be a regular there, having stating your info so detailed.......a very good inro infact!

However, sad to say it's not really my 'cup of tea' for Zapata's Bar, reason being that it's mainly populated with Whites or the 'Ang-Mohs'......infact too many of them there.

True for the fact that it's quite a good 'fishing' ground, but with also the many FLs there hunting for biz......

I guessed once in awhile to pop by isn't that bad though.....but still feel simply out of place with so many Whites there.
Just my cent worth of personal opinion.

End of the day, it's the same old saying "One man's meat is another man's poison"...........

sad to tell ya that there's ain't much actions at Lou Shan Guan Rd, reason being that it's another CBD Area where the exhibitions centers focuses are held....................

Try reading thru here for further info on where to go partying or 'painting the town RED' as it's being called! You're not far from town so travelling time isn't that tedious & painstaking.

A ktv called 7m in Da Xi Yang Yu Le Cheng (My eng translation: pacific ocean entertainment center)大西洋娱乐城。 The place is located on the 7m's level, (there is a level called 7m, haha, strange??) It s in xu jia hui, its a fucking good place. My sh frd brought me there. Minimum for a smallest room is 500 ren min bi, gal tip is 300. But the good thing is u can do anything, anything u want, beside sex in the room. We all take off our clothes and gals' clothes while playing games, whoever lose will take off one piece of clothes , u can french kiss her strip her, do anything, and to get her out is 1k ren min bi standard, but we manage to get some free ones. One last thing, always go there early , by 8 a lot of ppl liao , best is to get number from mama san, then ask her book for u , if not usually wont have seats, cuz the place is damn popular. But deco is not tt nice, like party world or k box in singapore. They simply cannot rennovate lor, one day off, meaning lose how much money liao? If u go there and new, u can request for mama san called, cheng hong, but her gals not as pretty as the other mama sans , but she is one nice lady, friendly , just be frind with her. She can bring other group's gals as well, remember one last thing, no matter what the gals said, just give me 300 ren min bi, tts the minimum and enough liao ,for whatever u do there, unless she jerk off for u , haha, one gal used to mast me inside under clothes wif my frds watching, damn funny !! haha, miss those fun days.

since you are in loushan guan lu, but are u staying nearby? if you are, you can try the Pinnochio (金球之星) which some bros here hv mentioned. need to book earlier as they onli hv 21 rooms. else take a walk along 仙霞路 where there are numerous choice. there is this 虹桥俱乐部.. next to shanghaimart where its like a HC setup. never been there but saw some pretty 东北 gals going up...
