Summary of my FR,....... BTW, I ran short of cash on last day, went to duty free to withdraw from MayBank ATM but the machine was out of service. End up use my CC to withdraw $ from Oscar with extra 10% charges. Also, some Thai ATMs allow you to make a withdraws if you use your Hong Kong or Maybank ATMs. I had made withdrawals via this way in Bangkok and Danok numerous times.

At least , you get valued THB and not the under valued RM.

Yes, can use maybank ATM card to withdraw money at thai but you got to call maybank service center to activate international withdraw service first. After you activate, you can withdraw money at almost any thai ATM machine. But still subjected to 150baht charge. kns

Thanks for the tip and I think there is 5% cash advance fee but still cheaper.
