Seriouslly, 1 million THB is around S$43,000 and if in liquid cash somemore, can use this sum to buy 1-unit of 2-storeys with 3-bed-rooms and 4-sq metres yards (1 front 1 back each) terrace house at Water Front City (also known as Marina) in Batam ....

Just to let you know, I am real estate trained too ...

I earlier got ask SRT to teach me how to reitre in LOS, he beri selfish 1, dun 1 2 teach me wan ....

This is very true as based on the cost of living in LOS for the ppl who wants to lead a luxury life 10k baht is nothing.

The market rate rite now is between 40kbaht and above as even my mamasan friend who is 45 years old commands 50k baht allowance from her sponsor.

bro you are rite about the sponsorship. got to know an ex-wl who received a monthly of 40k baht from her husband to look after their kid stay at apartment in huay khwang. Is 30- 40k enough?

Frankly speaking that depends whether the lady is Professional tirak or just another simple girl, actually there's no fixed amount that one should sponsor but it depends how the tirak wants to lead her life.

Some can survive on 5k baht but some must need 50k baht to make it through. 30-40k baht is already a fair amount for somebody who can rent a reasonable good apartment and also can frequently shop and eat in better places. Imagine those earning below 30k baht, how are they going to lead their life if it's not enough.
