I haven't encountered that before. I'm all for equality and women's rights, but seriously which guy will go and say a girl raped him? I've seen some news articles on this. I think they don't cry rape because they are embarrassed.

It's very rare but we can't say for sure that it wouldn't happen.

Ya. Life can be simple or complicated, it all depends how the people want it to be.
Inclusivity needs to be bilateral. Just like how you want to enjoy good sex, not just the physical, but also the mental bit.

There are both men and women who don't know what they want. Or even knowing what they want but remain passive and wait for things to happen.
To try, the rate of success is 50/50, to do nothing, then it's more likely to be 0.
Also, whether the men are suitable or not, it's not for us to judge or decide. It's the party involve got to make that call.
Most of us when you grow older, the libido drops. Of course they are some who not only didn't drop but becoming more needy. Whether its a curse or blessing. Imagine 60 year old botak uncle or big belly aunty still running around looking for FWB and ONS.

Problem is when one party initiates but the partner keeps rejecting and shows no interest. That's where the issue starts to occur.

The problem might be far and beyond. It is not just about accept and reject. Both of them need to know what they really want and be honest to speak up.
If it's beyond their means and ability, or there's just a lack of chemistry, then both should consider parting and go separate way.
Some people can be very selfish and self centered, at the very extreme, think that as long as they love their partner, the latter should love them back, but without finding out how the latter like to be loved. Just like a loving mother who cooks braised chicken wing for the son but the boy actually prefers fried chicken wing.
Worst, those who are hanging on to a relationship because they don't want to lose their BTO flat, or their PR status in Singapore.
