heh heh, actually i am very sincere about the suggestion to fly kite. to tell u my true life experience.. before i discovered this Fly Kite thing, i was "looking for love" in all the wrong places... even go KTV 3~4 times a week.. after the Fly Kite hobby started, i was able to stop going to KTV for 6 months and not miss it a lot, spend less money, do more interesting thing, sleep early (can sleep at 1am, otherwise sometimes 4~5am) and wake up not too late as well! ;-)

bro, i would like to share some of my exprience. there are many places for u to you. first of all,

boat quay, this place got quite alot of local waitress in the pub, they will likely to come talk to you, sometime ask u for ladies drinks, come chit chat with u! if the pub do really have too many customers then maybe she will talk to u longer, if not she will be busy serving other customers. good thing, the waitress are mostly locals, can communicate, speaks chinese or english, bad thing is they are materialist and got attitute problems.

tanjong pagar, this place got alot of pub, mostly make up of 2 type of girls, the philipnas and PRC students. sometimes u may find some vietnam girls in some KTV along the 50s strech. most of the pub in duxton road are philippnas pub. only a couple will be PRC pub. in most PRC pub, the waitress are mostly students working part time, sometime they will sit down and talk to u, play dice or card games with u, normally if u are alone, they will ask u for a ladies drink which is lilkely to cost u $12 per drink. then they will sit down there to chat with u, no hanky panky. other pubs wihere there are philippnas, these girls will come to u, then u chose which 1 u wan, then can rubba, touch here touch there, they will ask u for ladies drink which varis from 20-50 each. but be careful, normally when u first go in, the girls will come together. if all cannot make it then dun need to care about them, they will ask for u name, then u say hello then can ignore them liao. the good thing is most of them speaks good english. so can communicate with them quite easily.Then when u see the girl u wan, then keep eye contact with her and likely she will come to u, or u can try to approach them. if u jus hug hug, talk talk, they will not cut u la,(personal opionon) if u try to do to much hanky panky then they will keep asking for ladies drinks. actually its ok if u dun buy drink, the girl will leave and other girl will come. so enjoy urself. piece of advice, must have self discipline, dun spend too much on the girls. good thing is can communicate easily, bad thing is sometimes can spend quite alot and most of the girls here like cannot make it 1. only 2-3 pub can make it only!
joo chiat, geylang lor 44, lor 28, this place are pubs with vietnam girls, most of them speak simple english, chinese, or none at all. u will have a hard time communicating with them. so end up jus introducing urself, talk abit, rest is body language lor. hug, hug, touch touch, get as much as girl friend feeling u want lo. this girls will tend to butterfly around like those in Night club. then when they are going to u leaving, they will ask u for tips. normally is $20. if she only come awhile or what, then u jus give $10 lor. if u are happy with the girl u can give $30. all up to u. bad thing here is hard to communicate, good thing is the girls have fair complexion and some looks quite pretty and not too ex. sometimes the girls will ask u go hotel after the pub. the price u have to nego urself.

thai disco, there are many thai discos located in singapore. depends of which 1 u prefer. their concept are jus like those in tanjong pagar. ladies drinks concept. they got flowers also. sometime the thai girls will go up the stage to dance, then u can buy flowers for them or buy them ladies drinks. good things are, thai girls mostly younger than philippnas and vietnam, bad thing, expensive when buying ladies drinks and flowers.

all the above mention places are for ur ref, u can go there alone or with ur friends. i have seen guys alone in the pubs i mention above and they enjoyed themselves. if u do need more information of the pubs and address, feel free to PM me! cheers!

Bro Eastpak has given a very good and comprehensive summary of BQ, TP,JC, Geylang,Thai Discos.

If cheong alone, my experience is that Thai Disco's /Pub's in Singapore not the best place as the Thai girls will usually ignore those who are alone.

This is very different from Thailand (where the Thai girls behave more like those in TP and will approach any one very quickly ).

i think boat quay seems the best choice...

if i were looking for one...
i will look for the emptyest pub to greaten my chance to tok to the waitress...
haha... too many pubs there lah... i always see alot empty ones....

Try gg on fri n sat - its more crowded on these 2 days. But be forewarned that the place will be crawling with youngsters n fights r common too.

I am a regular customer at BQ pubs and I only go on weekdays. Try to avoid fri or sat nite coz it's always packed. If u cheong alone, it's advisable to go on wkdays so that u could spend more time tcss with those waitress. Most of them are PRC.

I hardly RTV (Return to Visit) unless I like those friendly waitress. Most of the time I'd rotate among all the BQ pubs. As the waitress turn over rate is very high, I dont see any reasons to RTV Sorry, i dont go there burn money hoping to bonk them, I just go there to drink n tcss to kill boredom

I think there are alot of places u can cheong alone leh. All the ktvs, tuinas, legal houses etc..
