It's still there just use Hola or GOM or Tunnelbear. All easy to configure and downloaded in seconds as the scripts/apps are tiny.

I can see loads of people still using the forum. If this forum is blocked you can get in with the same method.

What surprises me in this day and age is that there aren't more people using VPN by default because it does more than just bypass blocked sites. It protects your connection from all sorts of dangers including password and identity theft. Public wifi networks/hotel connections are notorious for being insecure. VPN is a prerequisite if you use anything other than your own secured network.

Very true actually boss can still see people posting in that forum, initially saw some dropoff, but it seems to be coming back

Thing is i never thought MDA would do because end of the day there are many proxy servers so even if they block the site its useless.

Don’t know if available from Singapore or not, but there are literally HUNDREDS of free proxy servers, and there are web sites which lists these free servers eg.

Just a word of caution / is there really free lunches?
Be very careful when using free (and to some degree even paid) proxies and vpns. Bandwidth ain’t free, hardware ain’t free and whilst there are various reasons why free proxies exist, you must be aware that there are also crooks operating them! Everything you send through a proxy and vpn is wide open to the party operating the proxy/vpn.

Also, if you use a vpn, it bypasses all routers and firewalls and thus you’ll be browsing “naked”

I suggest you only use Proxies/VPN’s for casual surfing and NOT for sensitive transactions like banking, credit card purchases etc. And do make sure that you log off AND double check that you have logged off all proxies before you conduct sensitive activities on your computer.

I would suggest paying for a cheap VPN service, usually have deals online just have to look.
No such thing as free lunch, i.e Hola, your data is being mined and sold. When stuff is free, you are not the customer, you are the product.
