that's one reason why I never use tour agency for package tours.

Most prices quoted are for twin share basis.. that means for 100 bucks you get city tour,2 nights accom etc etc.. so if you want the room all by yourself or your travelling single, you need to pay surcharge or (2heads).. however, the tour operator may only book you a single cos (you want the room all by yourself mah in the first place)... so hotel rightly charge you joiner lo..

Siam beverly is still friendly if book double.. Oct 6, I stayed there after helping a HK SYT check in a cheap hotel to stay, she invited me and no joiner for her. I stayed there Oct 8 and no joner too when i bring back another gal..perhaps I'm lucky?

A good lesson for u. Normally I book online for hotel and search around for air ticket .

Siam Beverly??? I was there last week. If in your case, the hotel staff told u 1 person, just ignore them. Get the key, just go up to the room. What can they do? If they ask just say your friend is just visiting u.

But I really like that hotel... cheap and clean... compare D'MA, eastin and ratchda city

Yup nice hotel, I stayed a few times there. Eastin n D'MA also ok leh but ratchda City, I have not stay there so no comment.

me used to stay @ emerald and there's a joiner fee. so changed to siam beverly which id directly opposite emerald. have stayed in siam beverly many times and brought in girls before. i was never asked to pay any joiner fee or guest fee. now my new place is watana mansion, very guest friendly.

This Watana cannot considered as hotel, it is something like budget service apartment. Not a bad apartment cos I used to stay there a few times....

ratchda City confirm no jointer fee... But I still prefer Siam beverly... Only terrible is the traffic just in front of the hotel...

I heard is only 550 a night... And room is big... Any down side of this mansion?

I love that siam beverly hotel too,stayed there during my stays in bkk back then...and the buffet lunch and dinner is not bad too,at less than 200baht.

agee that it's not a hotel but a budget service apartment. but the rooms are quite clean. good for those who wants to save money on lodging and spent on something else...........

if i'm there for more days, i would alternate between watana mansion and siam beverly or palazzo (near mirage massage).

Hmmm some ppl find the room dirty n stink. Some find it ok for that budget. To me, I used to stay in hotel that is worse than this. So I'm use to it.
