Been out of this forum for soooo long.
Here is my part of contribution.

Hotels can go as low as S$18 a nite. (weekdays) - enquire but never stay.
Hotel Seruni ($31), Hotel 88 ($27) - both stay for couple of times.

Girls (Cewek) - never try KTV girls cos most of friends like to go hunting.
usual Rp200k ($40) for a nite from FL in Pacific and Planet.

I planned this itineary:

Take afternoon ferry (1 ~ 3 pm). Will reach batam about the same timing.
Check-in hotel and wash up. No need taxis cos I now have batam driving license and can use company van. Otherwise have to pay around Ro30K for taxi.
Try out luck at Jackpot machines (normally Starlight or Penuin). If "hose" this can cover your whole trips spending. On record, 3 visits can get 1 visit free.
Try to control your losses at $50 to $80.
Have dinner at the nearby pujasera, or you can it free inside the gaming centre.
About 11pm batam time, head for the disco to enjoy the music and fishing.
Take supper to have a wonderful bonking sessions.
Next Morning, take breakfast and head back home.

PS. After so many bonkings, managed to collect a list of good gals hp. This is useful as some guys cannot speak bahasa. Also, for security purposes.

Taxi fares, depending in distance, can be negotiated to 10k to 20k easily. 20k to 30k is the norm isn't it ?

Hotel she bring you means it's walk-in rates or other rates ? There are ways of getting lower rates in BT, depending on various factors.

What language can she speak ? Just pure Bahasa Indonesia or mixed with English/Hokkien/Mandarin ? This is more of a question for newbies too.

Taxi - from Batam Centre to Nagoya Hotel should be 30k maximum. They will try you for 35k so don't give in.

Within Nagoya, should be 10k if taxis in small hotels and in the streets. Taxis from big hotels will try you for 20k but its always negotiable when you indicate that you are prepared to walk to the front of the hotel on the road! I do it all the time.

From places like A1 and Oki, the taxis will always try you for 20k even if its a short distance. The other day, one taxi Oki got me so mad after agreeing to my fare because I asked him to make one left turn to drop someone off. I told the arsehole to stop and drop all of us. I gave him 5k to buzz off.

Then I hailed another taxi and paid 10k only. Subsequent nights, I simply arranged for a taxi driver who was honest to wait for my call (I have a few) and called him to pick me up when I finished dinner at 10k.

If these taxis try to use cartel system to up their prices to rip us off, we can beat them - just have to use our brains.

You can do that even at the discos - get your taxi's phone number and call / sms them to come round when you are ready to be picked up.

Of course, its good to have more than one so that if one is busy, the other is available and so on.

Not all are on duty late into the nights too so you have to know their timings.

Bro Sassina2 has anwered the questions on transport. As for mine, Nadia will do the work for me and the rates were the same for me as used by her. I remembered 30k from Batam centre to Nagoya and 10k for within the city itself.

Hotels as cheap as S$20 to the most ex ones. Me not fussy as long as the hotel is clean. She ever brought me to a cheap but clean hotel for 110k. Food is a few dollars if u eat at those normal coffeeshops.

Nadia speaks bahase and a little English, as for hokien, mebe oni vulgar words hehehehe.

For those have problem with passport stamps, here's a tip, put $10 in the passport, when ur time come, tell him to stamp elsewhere instead of the new page and tell him to stamp lightly and walah! u could hardly see anything on the passport but a faint sign oni, same for going back.
