kovan 81 told me that the price increase went into effect on monday. Now they also quite chao, must be upfront in asking for 'wake-up' call. Exceeding the specified time will cost additional $15 per hour or part thereof. Best thing to do, set alarm on hp to 10 minutes b4 room expire for cleaning action.

kovan81 at $15/hr, alreadi have a letter stating the increase at the counter liao, so my teh gong of throwing $20 + NRIC + say "member also $30?" dont works

I think they are increasing the prices to make up for the loss of business in the geylang hotels...

dun play play, with the streets so dead, you can imagine how much lesser the Hotel 81s in geylang makes...

Good idea but there's a slight problem... Out of GL, there are not much budget hotels around to cater for the loads of Bros out there... Soon after we boycott H81, it will be normal to wait 45mins to get a room...
