I'm no great writer.. not a poet or fantastic story-teller.. but I enjoy reading ppl posting stuff of substance.

I will be one to say that it is hard NOT to haf some feelings for a WL u visit regularly. Face it, u either like her, her looks, her svc, or All of the above n more, to visit her mre than One time.
Some might say not to invest feelings, but human beings are emotional by nature, we are social creatures and communication is usually wat we seek. If there is a connection of some sort, whether it is by verbal, physical, or any means u thing exist.. we WILL feel a certain belonging.

I too, like bro doomas, never judge WLs for plying the trade.. i treat them like any other person I meet.. wif sincere respect.. until they dun respect me that is. I believe this is y I haf been able to be friends wif some of the WLs, cos I dun behave like a customer usually does.. if their attitude is not bad la. If bad, i cant bao la. all this is fine - to have some feelings and emotions - but it becomes unhealthy when this translates into getting angry, jealous, vengeful or getting conned because of such feelings...
I feel GL is not a place to overly invest such feelings... to each his own... but I find it ill-advised when one starts getting too fond of a particular WL or house until one spends all their time there like some kinda troll...
... and then, dedicating all their time in the forum promoting their fave house and wls, and attacking others who disagree...
some such trolls, I notice they check into the house at like opening time and really stay at the house all the way till closing... and then handing out unwanted advice to other cheongsters.
An okt of one of the top houses told me he actually DOES NOT like such customers, as they make it hard for him to do business, but he boh bian can't chase them out since they're "regulars".
This is because these guys crowd up the place and make funny comments about girls or other customers, end up, other customers feel uncomfortable and leave or when they hear the comments about the girls from these "trolls", they end up rejecting the OKT's recommendations...

These are just some of my thoughts lah... everybody has their own style of whoring... but most important I guess is to avoid hurting others...
one way some samsters cause hurt and harm is to write exaggerated FRs to mislead others to try a girl that is subpar... another way is to launch a coordinated attack on those that disagree with such promotional FRs....
these are just some of my views.
of course, even worse than that are a set of very childish samsters who want to "suan" others but when kena shot back in return, become aggressive and threaten to track others down or challenge people to meet etc... but in truth, are just keyboard warriors with no substance...

Airport send off is the worst experience. You can only watch her slowly slip away from your life as she passes through the immigration counter and hope for one last wave from her as she passes from your sight and life into the departure area. An emo fella like me can literally feel my heart tear apart when walking away from the glass panel that prevented yet another last hug but in my heart I know some birds are just too brightly feathered to be caged and have to be set free. And my world would then become that much drab and grey for their absence.

Probably houses need to check in and around the house for mosquito breeding sites. I mean, mozzies can breed even in a small drop of water the size of a coin.
Houses should maybe chip in to do pest control from lorong 6-lorong 30... Like spraying drains and putting insecticide in gutters and so on. Damn sad if girls fall sick because of mozzies... Yikes.

My relationships with the WLs are with no outcome in mind i.e. we are close friends, perhaps even fuck friends in a warped sense; we do not expect any permanent relationships beyond friendship and perhaps the odd romance or two. It is difficult to look past the cynicism but many of these WLs are very lonely people, being so far from hearth and home, yet they are very guarded against being too close to customers. The friendships you forge with the ones who do let you past their guard are no less strong than the ones forged outside of GL i.e. we share our dreams, hopes, disappointments and joys, celebrate each other's birthdays and exchange gifts, horse around, tease each other, play pranks and so on, things that friends do.That's when you will realise they are just ordinary janes trying to eke out a living albeit being from less than ideal backgrounds but hey, we're no angels ourselves. And to qualify, I am friends with only a very select few WLs.
The sense of loss I feel when I do send a WL friend to the airport is identical to what I felt when I was studying abroad. I stayed in a hostel where we were literally one big close knit family from all nationalities from A to Z. Every time someone leaves for home we all feel a sense of permanent loss and subtraction. We are happy that that someone is going home but yet are sad. Same thing I feel for a ROD-ing WL friend.
I may have said this before. It is very easy to cloak oneself in cynicism and write off all WLs as undeserving of anything beyond being a receptacle for our cum and frustrations. They do what they have to do to make a living, not unlike what we have to likewise do. KC is the only shortest route to big bucks in GL and if they land a big fish, good for them. We are the same when we want to bag a big client or secure a lucrative deal, and have to sarka the client and fight off the competition. No different from KC except that we are the targets and pissed because we are faced with our own weapons but in another form.
Background, status, creed, career, to me they matter little. If someone is sincere to me, I will call him or her friend. And truth be told, I have found WLs (or at least the ones I'm friends with) to be generally more sincere and truthful than some friends and business associates. With a business colleague, you never know if he/she is looking for an opportunity to shaft you to get to the next rung of the corporate ladder, especially if you are a high flier. As for friends, getting a lemon is always a risk, also especially if you are wealthy or are of a particularly high social status.
It may be offensive to some but I believe we do not know, or choose not to know, enough of the WLs to make a reasoned judgment of them as persons. In doing so, we fall prey to one of mankind's oldest shortcomings: what we do not know we fear, and what we fear we condemn. It's all a matter of individual choice really. I explore WLs as human beings and choose not to screen them off from my friend list. I do not treat them as whores or physical toys, nor do I give them the impression that I see them as such; thus far they have repaid my kindness with sincerity and for that, I'm happy. But then again, my situation could be different than most.

According to the site, it seems that telok kurau and lorong 25 are now dengue clusters
And it may affect the girls for months after the dengue is resolved. Lethargy and weakness can affect their work/income. Hope the OKTs are doing something to protect them.
