Tis morning took SBS 17O arrived JB @11.3Oam, change S$15O/ in Max Money in 3rd floor, JB Central building, i got rm387, which means S$1.OO= rm2.58/=

yesterday I got it at 260 at my regular Central Money Changer at JB Rm 2 better than in China Town Point which is 258.

Usually the exchange rate in Singapore is better than in JB. It is only matched by the 1-2 popular money changer in Sungei Wang or MidValley. However this time around the Singapore money changers did not drop their rate due to the high demand for ringgit in Singapore leading to not enough supply. Last Friday most money changers reported out of stock. However ringgit is obviously in excess across the causeway thus the rate in JB and KL is now cheaper than in Singapore, at least until the ringgit stabilises against the SGD and demand peaks start to drop.
