Most of the WL with children are more likely to care and love the child more, why? Because they are more likely to continue working becos of the child.

Unless you gain their trust over the long period of time if not 2nd choice is the place where you are.

They will ask u what type of commitment are you going to provide during these 1-2 years of wait.

Got to be fair to the girl, with or without you, she will have to look after the child. Many gals there resort to the flesh trade due to family reasons and one of them is the child. Look around, 9 out of ten are single mum, how often you see a single dad?

in fact i'm more concerned on whether should i proceed ahead...chances are very slim as we can see so many unsuccessful story. therefore i need to be very very sure. can't afford to lose as age is catching up on me. This gal is smart too as she still has to service the housing loan of 500,000baht. have to play the right cards.have never expect myself of having the thought of settle down with a thai WL . I must be Crazy..haha

U better think carefully. With a kid by her side and a housing loan of 500K, I guessed you are the best person to decide whether to go on or not.

She said the course fees was about 20K+, but after paying for all the equipment, dummy heads, real heads (everyday got aunties queueing there to be the "models" for the students to experiment on. the student have to pay the aunty, usually 100B per time), make up stuffs, etc., the total cost came close to 100K.

Mrs Cat Man doesn't recommend Grace Siam. She said the instructors very hao lian and hold back from teaching their full kung fu. like give you a little bit at a time, so that you have to keep going back to learn more. Graduating from Grace Siam only gives the student a foundation. No salon will let a fresh grad become a stylist straightaway. They will be put as shampoo girls at 4-5K salary for as long as 1-3 years before the salon owner will let them cut hair.

The complete course inclusive of hair setting, hair cutting and make-up at Grace Siam is 8 months.

I concur with what some of the brudders have said. If she is a caring mother, she will be thinking of the child and comparing what you can give her with what she can make from working. Nowadays WL also want a lot for their child. I get enquiries from my wife's ex-WL friends about how they can send their children to SG for education!

Don't think because got child, more easy to tie down hor! She can just ask her mother to look after her child and go back to work.

1-2 years wait means you have to support her and the child througout this period lor.

But before you make any decision, have you also checked out whether you have any competitors, and what they are offering her? If your gal is an above average WL, she will surely have more than 1 option to choose from.

I have come to a conclusion, if want to look for a WL as partner, 1st of all she must be abv avg. If she is below avg, why not look for a decent lady instead, tio boh?

Sure lah! why do u think I picked the ang pai of the house?

But above or below avg, it's an adventure you will never have with a decent lady. Learn totally new things and see life from totally different perspectives man. Not your average, double income yuppie Singapore family type of life. It makes you into a bigger person (not referring to your little brudder lah).

Yah, full course at Grace Siam, plus another year at a barber school to fine tune her skills in handling haircut for guys. Now I always get free haircut. Somemore colleagues say my haircut very good leh. So can open salon liao!

seriously speaking, you can pay her housing loan or not? we paid off our housing loan with her earnings from her GL tour of duty and some help from me. so now only got car loan to pay off.

i very much appreciate all brudders with their frank opinions, advice and information. i will try to dig out as much info as possible and post it here. sorry for the late reply as i m working through this short week and have been talking to her briefly. nothing much to report. how she gets her $ really do bother me but my feelings for her is beyond dat.

put it this way, if realli she is doing any sideline to maintain her lifestyle, i think i will most likely bail her out if possible. i feels that i m in this too deep but i just cant stop myself.

anyway, will try to fish out more info using brudder siamcutey idea...but i must do it gently before she discovers i m treating her wrongly. i just dun wan to lose her. in the meantime, i guess i have to be patient.

by the way, using starhub normal line cheaper than starhub prepaid? becoz, my 2nd hp is just to call her. i sms her using my M1 line. anyone knows what is the rate if use starhub prepaid to call sillypore from LOS?

Someone in this forum recommended me Platinum calling card . I have been using it to call thailand, landline or mobile. Gives more than 120 min of talk time (more than 140 if you call and dont hang up). the card can be purchased at Geylang for $8 per card. Of course you call using landline. works out to be about 8 to 10 cents per min. Very good deal. And very clear too.
