hahaha... then that will be a big problem in china. consider the 1 child policy already cause an imbalance of male to female ratio. more of their women moving out will be destructive

Hmm..sometimes i'm pondering whether we want to marry "overseas woman" because we will feel less pressure (of meeting their expectations).

Come to think of it, life can actually be very tranquil and happy if we live contentedly. i.e. we earn enough to live comfortably and the wife is not complaining, and if we are able to strike richer then its a plus..else wife is still happy.

Well, in my point of view, if you find your PRC wife is making use of you, you better have her blacklisted by the government as soon as possible man. Let them never to step in our grounds. Or else if things turn nasty, she will come back and use women chapter haunt you. You will be in the loosing end.

I have heard that many SG guys married China women in early 90s then. When these China women achieved their Permanent Resident status, their attitude immediately change wanted to divorce & split assets (HDB flats).

One of my former classmate's uncle married a evil China woman ended up in family court.
Worst till, every decision made is against him (uncle) totally flavouring the China woman's evil motives.

In reality... I think older SG men who got married in 90s suffered a lot in unfair treatment in women chapters which resulted younger SG men marrying foreign ladies in Third World countries or SG men that do not intend have kids set up a family stay on bf-gf relationship as there is no point getting ROM here

That is SG's "woman chapter" problem, think the "worst chapter" should apply only to the SG-born woman, not those converted woman, as most of them use marriage as step-stone to gain the SG-woman status only

Not a problem, think SG only have 3.3 million people, of them say 10% marry prc only got 33,000 man marrying same number of PRC woman, that is not a big deal comparing to PRC population 1.4 billion

But that will cause big problem for SG society here
