Road Accident Encounter

Continuing....

It's the year end again. Time to clear my annual leave and have planned to spend a few days in Msia. Intent to drive up to Genting Highland and enroute to Ipoh for my favorite Ipoh Hor Fun!

In one of the SMSes, I suggested to June about the trip...

Me SMS: "Hi, any plan for Dec? I am planning to have a short trip in msia. I am looking for a companion...."
June SMS: "I am ok with it. Thought of bring my princess alone. Wanna chill out too. Shall we meet up and talk about it?"

Me SMS: "Sure... time and place?"
June SMS: "Wah...you sound so eager huh? Can wait to see me right?"

Me SMS: "Yah lor...so long never see you liao. Wonder if you have put on weigh. Ok.....What about Suntec city? Bring your princess along too if you want."
June SMS: "Sounds good. Wanna shop at Carrefour later on." Meet you there at 7pm? By the way I have been spending my time in the gym and cooking lesson."

Me SMS: "Wah...so when are you going to cook for me? Hmmm...Should be ok. See you at Kenny Roger at the Fortune Fountain."


Time passed like a bullet train that day. Probably from the never-ending work.
Packed up and drove down to Suntec City. Walked towards Kenny Roger restaurant and June and daughter are already there waiting.


Me: "Hi...sorry I am late. Hi Princess!"
June: "She is Isabelle. Isabelle, say hi to uncle."


In that instant, my mind was think if Isabelle can call me Father, Papa or daddy that will be good. In fact I don't mind if the mum agrees.....hehehe


Isabelle: "Uncle....hi!"
Me: "Hi Isabelle! Nice to know you."


I squatted down, stroked Isabelle's head. Gave a warm smile to her.


Me: "She is pretty. Big round eyes and nice eye lashes. Sure as pretty as the mummy."
June: "Of cse....hahaha.."

Me: "So Isabelle, tell uncle what do you feel like eating?"
Isabelle: " Macdonald!"

June: "Isabelle, no no.. Mummy said no more macdonald for you right. You just have that this morning. That's not heathly for you. Shall mummy buy spaghetti or fish for you?"
Isabelle: "ok....any balloon?"

June: "Huh.....mummy will get one from them."


June added...


June: "This fellow just love Macdonald. All thanks to the father. Keep bringing her to eat all those unhealthy food. Now i got a hard time changing her appetite."
Me: "Well, she is just a kid. Probably because of the toys and freebies. Just talk to her, have some paitence to change her eating habit."

Me: "Isabelle, uncle will get a balloon for you later. What colour do you want?"
Isabele: "Pink colour"

Me: "Ok...so isabelle loves pink colour? What other colour do you like?"
Isabelle: "Pu..purple."

Me: "Ok...uncle will get 2 balloons for you ok."


We decided to settle at Swensens. Before that, I went to Macdonald to ask for 2 balloons for Isabelle. Isabelle was above cloud nine when I handed her the 2 balloons.


Isabelle: "Thank you uncle."
Me: "You are welcome."
June: "You are pampering her. Next time you will have a hard time dealing with her."

Me: "Next time?"
June: "Urrrr......so what are we having dinner?"


Does June have the thought of otherwise in future for her and daughter? Well I gues it may be just a slip of tongue to say that sentence.


In the restaurant, we ordered a kid's meal for Isabelle and a ice cream for her. Whereas I shared a Coit tower with June. We were just like a happy family dining together. I love the moment with June and Isabelle. So much urge to tell June I wanna father Isabelle!


Me: "Isabelle, do you like the ice cream?"
Isabelle: Humpt! nice....
June: "Take you time. Wipe your mouth with the serviette."

Me: "So where else later after this meal?"
June: "Let's walk around and carrefour." Wanna get some stuff. Oh yah...you were mentioning about the trip. So what do you have in mind?"

Me: "Oh yah...I was intending to drive up to Msia. You wanna join me? Just for a few days. Are you convenient to join me? Bring Isabelle along if you want."
June: "I am ok with it. Wanna bring her jalan jalan. Hasn't been out touring around since I have her."

Me: "Hmmmm....sounds good. But how are you going to tell him?"
June: "I will settle it myself. Just say that I am bring her to join my friends."

Me: "Aren't you afraid that he might find out."June: "Aiyah...he won't bother to care. I think he will be more than happy that i am not around in s'pore so that he can officially fool around!"

Me: "Is that a good solution to you problem?"
June: "Sigh........if he can do it I can too. But don't be mistaken ok. I am not using you as a alternative to my problem. I just think I have the liberty and freedom to go out whoever I want to. I am not trying to seek revenge or something like that. I have think it through. I have my life. I can't stick with a man and a husband who just don't care about me and the family. A man who doesn't fullfilled the role as a husband and a father. A man who doesn't show responsibilities to his rightful role. I am tired in fact. I have plans for myself already."

Me: "what do you have in mind?"
June: "Actually, next year Isabelle will be enroled to K1. I am looking for a full-time job too. In fact I am going for a few interviews this few days. I can't just laze around at home doing nothing. I want to be independent. I want to get back to the working work."

Me: "hey June, I am supportive of your decision to work again. I am sure you have plans for Isabelle too. So what's the job interview you are going for?"
June: "I have 2 personal assistance positions, plus some finance related job." It's not about the pay but rather want to see the world. Kill some time."

Me: "Good for you. Guess I won't be seeing you so often once you start work."
June: "Well.....hehehe...you can come pick me up for work and fetch me when I finish."

Me: "Hahaha...if you don't mind."
June: "I am joking lah."

Me: "So now you have plan for yourself. What about........urrr..........you and him?"
June: "Oh yah....actually I wanna share with you this thing."
