Heard some rumors that AV is asking the operators for a meeting but then again, rumors are just rumors. Hopefully, this legal playground comes back to life soon. Getting too old waiting around & time is not on my side.

To all chiong brothers of GL I think there is hope it will reopen soon. Yesterday drove around lorongs 8, 10, 16, 18 and 20. I noticed some good old joints are under going reno works and likely will be other business after renovation. However I also noticed some regular joints are cleaned up with their signage still intact as if ready for business. Saw some chaps outside the joints ..likely bosses or okts preparing for opening. I guess they are actively recruiting WLS now . So my fellow chiong brothers be prepared for GL reopening..likely about 2 to 3 months time.🤗😋🍻🎉🎊🧨happy days are here again soon.

Has their been any mention by the government that they plan to let is reopen? Seems like an easy excuse to let the area redevelop since it has been so long.
