Location is at Ratchada. Beside Pump-Up and Inch. If taking MRT. Drop off at Thailand Cultural Center station. Head for the Chinese Embassy exit. If anyone do check it out. Please remember to post your feedback to verify whether this place really sucks.

Decided to check out Escudo last Friday. Ya, I guess u're right... like a smaller version of Slim..... Escudo is at Thonglor Soi 15, 4th floor.... can't remember the name of the pub on 3rd floor, but they play live music and some retro songs. I think they're the same managment. Hip Hop all the way at Escudo.

JB Black Label = 1,500THB
mixer = 50THB
The place is ok, but crowd only starts pouring in after 10.30pm. Don't go too early... Saw some Thai celebrities there.....

Happening on Sat Nite.
Went to Route 66 with Aom to finish my bottle of Jack Daniel. Met up couple of S'porean friends who're here for holidays. All 3 are impressed by the settings at Route66 and the ladies there. Decided to change venue and move to Santika... 3 friends don't want to leave untill I told them we're meeting 1 Japanese babe there.
Reached Santika around 10pm. Finished 1 bottle of Absolute vodka within half hour..... over the night, dunno finished 2 or 3 bottles of Absolute. Bill came, 4,300THB++... si bei shiong... 1 "lucky" friend hooked up with 1 Ah Lian (with tattoo), but needed my help for translation... told her to bring him to wherever she wants. Disppeared with the lady never to be seen again. Hope he don't get a shock when he wake up the next morning. haha
Another friend impressed the Jap lady so much, they're almost inseparable the whole night. Unfortunetly, she's hi-so lady and she don't bring man back anyhow. So he lan lan suck thumb at hotel... at least he got her email and contact....
Wanted go Blur after 2am but was told it's closed for the night because of police raid.... changed venue to Ratchadar Soi 4, Zeed, and was informed is closing too. Maybe police didn't get enough oil water that night... Lan lan... went Bali for supper and some drinks.
Over all, a happening weekend..

Mind suggesting like 3-4 places/pubs besides Escudo that I can bring my friend as it's his first trip to LOS. We will be going in Apr and he's into Hip-Hop and hopefully able to get some babes as well... Some where nice ambience and crowds wil lbe good. Tks in advance.

Below will be my choices to bring my S'porean friends to:
1) Booze <-- at Thong lor Soi 10 . friendly girls and i'm a regular but some might not like cos most of the people only speak Thai....
2) Route66 <-- (RCA) I like the posch settings
3) Slim/Flix <-- (RCA) one of the hot favs and jus beside Route 66
4) Santika <-- (Ekkamai Soi 5?) one of the local hi-so joint cos drinks are expensive (by the locals) and surprisingly so easy to pick up girls last weekend.
5) Bed Supper Club <-- (sukhumvit soi 12?) nice hi-so joint too... but mostly expats and foreigners... some hi-so Thai too.. if u're lucky might be able to bum into Thai celebrities.... good only if u have a partner to bring along.
6) Hollywood <-- Very local joint. Good to see young dancers and sexy singers.... sometimes can hook up local ladies too though. Expect lotsa WLs....
7) CM2 <--- its good pickup place for FLs... good live band too....

Same like u, I also rather try my luck with the local "decent" ladies.... The above mentioned places are places i've went before and not some "UNDERGROUND DISCO" which i've not been to OR don't know the exact venue OR places which aren't even worth mentioning to give recommedations in the first place. hehehe
Another place you might want to try your luck is "Nang Len" (Sit Play) at Ekkamai/Thonglor junction... can't remember what soi, but its Thonglor soi 10 towards Ekkamai and turn left just beside a petrol station.
I've only been there once.... super damn pack.... lotsa babes, and handsome dudes.... but.. too crowded for my liking... lotsa Thai likes to go there because its well known to be packed with "beautiful (young) people".
Of cos for easiest pickup, i'll guess it should be those pubs at Ratchadar Soi 4. I've never tried before but I've heard friend who told me they suceeded before. I won't be surprised cos some of the pubs there are catered for those "dek sekoy" (Thai Ah Lian).... and I always see dead drunk young girls waiting for taxi along the road.... I think if u're (drunk) daring enough, u should be able to hook up some.....
