Very very long time, no see you. Why go to Betong to makan only. Why no cheong a bit. The clubs & puds in Betong are diminishing in quantity. Makan, drink beer, cheong a bit, play around a little ( with Thai syts puyings in the clubs & puds)....all good for the hunks liked you. Liked the thai club in Jalan Klang Lama, whereby me, you & friend, Xiao Jiao, Girl Lover, Darkknight had some good fun. Yes, me missed Danok ( M Club, Hello Bangkok, Fortune Cafe are ok for me ) and Betong ( Konka Club, Jockey Pud, O Yes Club which is the basement & Merlin X Zone, upstairs disco are also ok with me ). Puyings all very eager to meet & please Taiko akabane. They...no care for this chicken shit fellow.....nicknamed Yokosi. Let them, all sapu you kau kau. Me go drink beer and hide in one dark corner. Dear TonyCheong2, By land or water up to you. No water in the border between Betong ( Thailand ) and Pengkalen Hulu ( Malaysia ). Have to sneak in by land, in a lorry ( such as a fake lorry assistant ) transporting needed supplies ( sperm ) to LOS. Last edited by Yokosi; 04-02-2021 at 03:39 PM. |

Re: Betong update
Betong gets ready for arrivals once flights start landing in April
Feb 25. 2021 By THE NATION Local businesses in Yala’s Betong city are getting ready to greet visitors once flights from Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport start landing in Betong’s new airport from April. The Betong District Tourism Association said relevant agencies and businesses have discussed plans of opening the city to visitors, as well as putting in Covid-19 curbing measures. The association also said some 2,000 hotel rooms are being prepared for the influx of tourists and should be ready by April. The top tourist attraction in Betong is the 61-metre-long skywalk, which gives visitors amazing views of the Ai Yerweng sea of mist from an altitude of over 600 metres. As many as 230,000 visitors have walked down the skywalk between October and December last year. |

Re: Betong update
The new Betong Airport in the southernmost province of Yala is slated to open in April, with Nok Air expected to be the first airline to launch daily flights to and from Bangkok when it opens, the airport’s acting director, Duangporn Suvanmanee, said on Tuesday. Betong Airport, the 29th airport operated by the Department of Airports, was supposed to open in December, but the government decided to delay the opening to next month. Ms Duangporn said the department has approved Nok Air’s request to launch services to Bangkok’s Don Mueang airport. As the budget carrier is planning to use a 64-seat aircraft to serve the one hour and 50-minute flight, the department is confident it will be able to fill 75% of the seats for the first six months, she said. In addition to Nok Air, Bangkok Airways also has plans to launch flights to Betong from Phuket and Hat Yai. The airline is considering to operate six flights to Hat Yai per week throughout the cooler, “winter” period, starting in October. The flights would cut down travel times between the cities to just one hour, down from 4-5 hours by road at present. Once it opens, the new airport is expected to give the province’s tourism and hospitality industries a boost, Ms Duangporn said, adding the airport has already hired the staff required and its landing system had been inspected and certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand. Betong Airport is located some 12 kilometres from downtown Betong. The airport will only be able to serve smaller aircraft with 70-80 passengers, as it only has a 1,800-metre runway. |
