Bobby has been quite ineffective so far. I think we will see Jota, Luis Diaz and Thiago/Elliot being introduced later. Our midfield is not as energetic as it should be. Worrying

Massive win

Horrible team, horrible conditions, just all about the victory and getting those 3 precious points. Also sending Burnley one step closer to where they belong

Epitomises the "winning ugly phrase" , but sometimes you just have to. Great "Adult football" to quote Klopp

Some say Alisson was the best player on the pitch. No doubt he had a very good game.

But I beg to differ. To me the Bayern Munich Thiago turned up once again. Elevated the entire midfield when he came on. Passing improved from everyone when he came on.

The game before Thiago came on, reminded of people saying our midfield is all about closing down, and last night he showed how some one who controls the ball, can control the game. Does simple things as well. Slows the game down or speeds it up with his passing. He is the best in the PL at doing that

If we are going to get over the line & win trophies this season Thiago will be key. Need him in the Carabao Cup final, the CL games & these must-win PL games now.

Best midfield is Thiago, Fab & another. Just, please, for the love of god, stay fit!!

Playing 4 2 3 1 you'll get the best of Thiago sitting deep partnering Fab... Klopp always uses 4 3 3 with Thiago playing either left or right side doesn't suit his style cos he's not a speedy player. Hendo suddenly became a not so good player this year which is hard to comprehend!

May we get a good result this morning. CL football has no away goals rule so I think a clean sheet with a 2 goal cushion will be amazing. Inter is actually a good side with many EPL veterans.

Now we had a proper bench and with 5 subs in CL was fantastic, we can sent on Firmino, Diaz, Hendo, Keita around 60 mins with brilliant subs by Klopp knowing that Inter players were tired legs.

Defence stood tall with partnership of Konate and VVD and seems that both won most of the headers..

Nervy performance by Elliot his first taste of CL starts and Jota ankle injury a concern.

Overall strong team performance but job half done.

To Pablo Di Canio and Fabio Capello playing mind games before the match, wait till 3 weeks later.
