taxi69:

I cannot go on cheong tours during public holidays as I am needed then. Wee hours are also a factor that helps us to buy cheap tickets.Welcome Inn allows early check in if they have rooms available. But check out times are as usual 12 noon.

Worldster:

I was in Welcome Inn last week till Sunday 26 April. Welcome Inn will not make a Robert out of you. You probably were given a deluxe room and thats about1500p. Standard rooms are 1000p.

Thanks for the link, but the website did not state the actual location of this Ramada Hotel [sounds Thai]

There are many new hotels and also lousy ones far-far away from the action places....waste a lot time and money commuting

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips

There is a map of where the hotel is: Ramada Hotel, Your Convenience Hotel but have no idea if its relatively easy to get around.

Prefer to stay a little further from where all the bars are (avoid noise when sleeping) though not too far that it becomes a hassle when commuting.

Free internet/wifi and airport pickup is a bonus.

Any suggestions bros?

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips

Came back from Angeles a few weeks ago. It was my first time but had a great time there. I already miss the party scene, the food and the girls.

Can't wait to get back there again. As a newbie to the scene, I walked pass Tiger hotel and noticed that it is not too far away from the actual Fields area. Walkable, say five minutes or so. Along the way you have plenty of makan places plus some street food (try it only if you have a strong stomach).

I stayed at Phoenix Hotel which was quite a long walk away. I used the jeepneys instead to get to and fro from the Fields area. Your "tour guide" will familiarise you with the Jeepneys pretty quick. It's only seven pesos and they pick you up and drop you off anywhere along the route.

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips

Thank you for your clarification bro...hopefully that is deluxe too
The reason that raised my suspicious was deluxe room without bathtub

By the way, I stayed there from 25th Apr to 27th. This trip was badly planned which i have to find hotel on the spot. I will learn from this mistake...haiz

Thanks for the link. From what I gathered from th map, it is quite far from those activities. Just imagine that the last time I stayed in on of the hotels above Chow KIng was already far [though there was n't any need for commuting by motorcycle taxi] Anyway, it should be nice to saty at cozy places
