Looking at Spurs grinding out a win on Sunday and last night's win by Leicester away which now puts them in 2nd place behind us by 1 point, seems like this season may be a more open and interesting one.

Seriously impressive from Leicester last night considering they are missing there first choice back four and CM. Ndidi and Pereira are as good as what's around in their position in the league.

As for us, guess just continue to take it game by game and try to accumulate as many points as possible.

Going to be interesting how Klopp plays this considering we have City away next on Sunday.

Tbh I would settle for a draw tonight provided we get as much rest as possible for our usual XI and no injuries.

Just read some interesting news on the other game in our group. Apparently poor Ajax have 11 first team members down with Covid-19 including their two first team GKs

Just shows you that anything can happen nowadays and all we can do is hope nothing much else negative affects our squad here on in.

Please be nice to our fellow Champions League team. My Man U friends are always so 'nice' to me before we finally win our league title this year. They always tell me this year or next year will be Liverpool's year to win the league (CCB!) The least we can do is to be just as 'encouraging' to them. Without Bruno Fernandes, their team will not be in CL and will be fighting against relegation. He must be paid very well. Maybe he is regretting not going a team fighting for titles and trophies. Some reports say they give youngsters a chance. By the time these youngsters hit mid-20s, they will want to leave for a team that can win leagues and trophies. Like how Macca and Owen left us.

Their team only have 2 legendary managers; SAF and Matt Busby. Funny how we were told players cannot transfer between both teams when Gabriel Heinze tried to join us. Go check out Matt Busby on wikipedia. His football playing career consists of 204 appearances for Man City and 115 appearances for Liverpool. He was even Liverpool's captain. He only played for 2 clubs. And somehow he can be a Man U manager. And even better their fans can accept him.

Makes you wonder when the Man U/Liverpool rivalry started...

Atalanta and Ajax drew in the last match. If we can draw or win here, I think we are going to win the group. If I were Klopp, I will not risk Matip tonight from the start. I rather save him for the Man City match. If Rhy Williams really gets overwhelmed, then throw in Matip. We can make 5 substitutions in the CL after all. Atalanta have injury worries too.

Hopefully Jota Shaq n Taki will start as the front 3 tonight. Milner Hendo n Gini in midfield to give cover for R.Williams. Our regular front 3 to be rested for the Mcity match n only to come in during the 2nd half tonight if needed.
A draw would be a good result.

Fantastic display so far. Jota is taking his chances. I hope Bobby will fight to win his place back. It is good to have competition for places. For Jota's first goal, if he had gone down, it will be a penalty and possible sending off. For his second goal, it is pure personal brilliance. Almost cannot defend such shots.

Atalanta is a good side. Their captain is good. Combative and shields the ball really well.
