Latest word from Anfield on VVD and Thiago is that both have just gone to the hospital for scans. Fingers crossed nothing too serious.

that is shit news for all LFC fans. we will have a fully packed month for Oct and Nov and without our key players in VVD and Thiago. both tackles were clearly out of line and in VVD case, why did VAR not intervene to check the very harsh and unnecessary tackle by Pickford on VVD. you look at this picture and that scissor tackle by Pickford is out of line and could have broken VVD legs and others easily. VVD will be out for 2-3 months at least.

suddenly our backline now looks very fragile without VVD, I don't see Matip and Gomez lasting for 9 games, Fabinho will act as backup when needed. suddenly now we missed Lovren.

Klopp is certainly not happy with the referee decisions but held back his comments.

Transfer window shut and if Liverpool still in the hunt then need to splash on transfer in Jan for center back.

Seriously feel that there's a plot against Pool now.. All decisions were against Pool n they were major crucial ones against Everton yesterday.
Manure can be awarded a penalty even after FT whistle was blown, so why can't Hendo's goal be awarded after checking VAR again?

There are reports the referee did not check the VVD tackle for a red card offence. Plus the VAR injury time goal is terrible. I don't think their line can tell you which part of Mane is offside. Up to them to draw a line and decide. Just when I thought derbies against Everton must always have an injury time winner.

Yesterday's match could be rigged, of coz we have no proof. There was heavy betting for Pool to win cos the odds went up from -0.5 to -0.75 for a win n sometimes certain ppl can be bought over to prevent a huge payout. It was quite obvious yesterday!

rigged or not, we payed a very heavy price for this game. FA could review the challenge by Pickford and then issue 1-2 match suspension but that means little for Pool.

with Alisson, VVD, Thiago out for some time, i'm sure the odds for Pool to retain the title is even higher now.

Gather VVD due to see a specialist tomorrow. Looks bleak now, probably out for the rest of the season if its an ACL.

Thiago, apparently may not be serious. Fingers crossed.

As for Alisson, seems like he may be back sooner than expected. Fingers crossed once again.

Really gutted by these injuries to our world class players, especially losing VVD for what looks to be a very long time.

But it is what it is. We just need to buckle down and deal with the situation. Hopefully our mentality monster mojo and Klopp's managerial nous will get us through this tough bleak situation.
