Doesnt know that you was so active in this forum.. haha.. which viewpoint that we not covered last time.. ha..ha.. this trip was short, 2days trip only... cant do much thing except the bangla road... any recommendations for hotel with bathtub and most important is cheap and near to bangla... not going to rent bike as stay only a night...

The low peak period is from April till end Oct, after that the hotel rate will be double. Maybe you can cheong the few viewpoints that not went for during the last trip. hehe

I am in hibernation mode, once see interesting stuff in Phuket thread will "jump out" haha. How's life man?

2 days is simply too short you should know. You can try Riko, I think they have bathtub with a higher charges. Or along the diving shop, there are some near "mini" hotels.

You going for diving?

I've book C&N patOng studio room with bathtub for 1000bhat er night .
Including breakfast. Heard its near Bangla rd too.

My first time staying here . Well hope this info is useful for u

Rem we ever walk to a side lane along Bangla? We even got the card of the hotel. If I am not wrong the rate is about 800B for standard room now. With bathtub maybe a bit higher. Girl friendly or not, should make enquiry when you book. Better to ask than to be sorry later...

C&N is near Bangla just about 100m away. With airport pick up and breakfast is a good deal as well.

Just to share my research on guest houses. These 2 are girl friendly.

1. White Patong (i will be staying there in my upcoming trip) http://www.whitepatong.com/index.html

Reply from the hotel when i stated booking in Jul:

"- Standard room = 700 Baht per night
- Superior room = 900 Baht per night
- Deluxe room = 1,100 Baht per night (Full facilities-DVD player, Hot water boiler,
Coffee&Tea, WiFi internet

We don't charge joiner fee as long as only two people in the room. @ White Patong is only 2-3 minute walk to the Patong beach (300-400metres). The room facilities are included A/C, hot water, Cable TV, and free WiFi internet. Please kindly check on our website for more information. Also we have VDO our hotel which be posted in YouTube website.

Looks quite nice and relatively near to the hotspot... gonna give this a try. Any comments is welcome.

2. Chalermporn guesthouse http://phuketdir.com/chalermpornhouse/

This guesthouse i stayed before a couple of years ago. It's nice and staff are friendly, only that it might be a far from action and the cleaning auntie can be pushy for some tips. This is close to the shopping centre and there are a lot of mobile food stores at night then. Very quiet place and relatively cheap, cost 500baht per night for no window room.

Hope this is of some help to the bros.

a lot of hotels in patong are guest friendly. the nearer to bangla the hotel is the more likely they allow u to bring 1 guest back for free.

White Patong seems like a good choice. Newly open yet near to shops, mall and drinking joints.

When I was there last year, saw a few renovation along that lane. Maybe this hotel is one of them.

Bro Tcss7, this is near to the diving school. Make me want to go again just to laze there..

I stayed at White Patong about 2 years ago. They just opened not long when I stayed there. Boss and service staff are friendly. Only bad point is there is no lift so if you stay higher floor, you get to exercise everyday !!

Not good idea to stay lower floor as it could get noisy unless you very late sleeper.

C&N was my favourite regular hotel. It was because they were full that I stayed at White Patong. I went during peak period.

Never tried their new rooms after they renovate.

For proximity to bangla, you can try these hotels at soi sansabai: Patong hemingway, Acca, Wonderwhy, Apsara residence. The latter tend to be a little noisy in the evening. Price should be under 1000 baht in the low season and frightening hike during the peak ones.

There was a new hotel, Ladebua started just last year too. The hotel service was also good. But the location is about 200m from Bangla.

The good thing about the hotel was it was opened by Thai Chinese and the boss was a young chiobu Too bad tcss7 did not see her as I managed to see her on the last day after checking out waiting at the lobby. If see her earlier, might use excuse to ask her to the room to check the "room condition". hehehe

got chio ladyboss meh? i only know got 1 receptionist not bad la..the hotel is good value because the size of the room is very big although the facilities are very standard. alot of good food around that area too, no need scared hungry..

Yes I quite like the hotel too. The room is huge if you have the ones away from the street. I was lucky while Bro TCSS7 got smaller one.

The lady boss was in the mid 20s. Nice front and butt, bonkable type. I checked out at 2pm and waited till 5pm for my transport to airport on my last day. That's when I managed to see the boss walked over to talk to the recept(plump and friendly one). You mean the small size recept(now I rem)? I brought a WL back one night and this recept cheekily ask me why I did not bring WL back on the next nite.
