in the past gerrard owned the midfield by playing in the middle, everytime. will rafa put gerrard in the middle if either sissoko or alonso is injured or something? liverpool has so many capable wingers, why?

i find it inexcusable that since they already have natural wingers like Gonzales that rafael is not playing him and moving gerrard back to central midfield..but i understand if he wants to play both sissoko and alonso then gerrard has to move to the flanks...why not the right why left...then if the right is already taken by pennant, then one of them either sissoko or alonso has to be dropped..if so then i much prefer sissoko to be playing as he seems to break down the opposition play in midfield much better then alonso...while alonso is more known for his precision long range passing but how successful is his passing rate..something which gerrard can also accomplish...

That's what i cant understand!!!!

We shifted Gerrard, our super trumph card, who won us so many games from the middle of the park, to either left or right so that alonso n sissoko can play together?!

Make no sense to me so far... Though i understand no man is bigger than the team but if i know by dropping either sissoko or alonso for gerrard can win us games, i will do that...

Aren't managers suppose to bring the best out of the players to win games?!

One of the problem now is Rafa bought too many players than is needed just in case of injuries. However, LFC has no such problem except Kewell now.

Rafa have to play the "STAR" players to keep them happy sacrifying the "Not so Big Name" although they keep saying no player is bigger than the Club.

Soccer is a team game. You cannot achieve good result if you do not play as a team although you might have Super stars in your team. If players do not play with each other long enough, the understanding will not be good.

I see, friends for 20+ years ah. No wonder. Cos whenever pool loses, I will be damm tulan. If my friends try to say pool only lost cos I'm wearing poo's jersey, i will be tulan ( X 2).

Gonzales was injured (thigh) for the last match and he was sick for a while last month, that's why RAFA didn't play him.

i was totally pissed off the result too! but i guess the reason why rafa didnt play gonzalez is coz its Bolton... i mean they dont play football, look what they did to Dirk's hair.. changed him to a Brunette!

Gonzalez being so young and used to La Liga wont be able to handle Bolton. But if u look back at highlights, actually Liverpool had more shots on goal, which is the same for the chelsea and the everton matches. We lack abit of luck, something which chelsea has in mass abundance, but these things tend to average out in the season.. so when that time comes, we can see liverpool charge up the table

tats the problem the stats on shots favours pool but when it comes to shots converted to goals, they fall short and thats the most fustrating part of watching them when they play...

I know that feeling. When Anfield hosted Spurs and Belammy missed an open goal before Gonzales scored, I was tearing out my hair too. Like that also can miss!!!

This is always a problem for Pool ... lots of shots but no goals to count for
