Santana Disco is pretty localized. I used to go there when the OZONE disco was still opened. Back then it was really crowded on weekends. I always remember the tons of Ojeks parked outside the disco and lots and lots of indon girlies and teochew ceweks standing around outside. Nowadays the disco is barely half full even on weekends.

After the closure of OZONE, Bravo became the number 1 disco in Balai it seems. All the best ceweks (FL) can usually be found there.

Music wise Bravo's beat seems to be more better well at least it is for me. I always feel Santana's beat is more tuned to local Indon music IMO

I have since switched to the Maximillion Hotel which is about 3-4 years old and is in much better condition than the Paradize Hotel. Rates is SG38 for a standard room but the rooms are really nice.

Bro u should try to check it out during your this upcoming trip..for SG8 more its really worth it.

i could still remember the server from paradiz bringing cans of insecticide to my room and start spraying due to cockroaches. no doubt accessibility is good but the environment kinda turn me off. There's only 2-3 hotels i'll stay in balai (maxi, wiko, gabion) gabion is becuz the receptionist meimei very pretty.

Hotels generally are cheaper in Balai then what u get in BTM. So for me i will personally prefer to pay a few dollars more to get a more cleaner and cosy room to conduct my activities hehe.

Balai (Puakang) isnt really a very big town so getting around town isnt a very expensive affair. With 10K rupiah on a Ojek you can get around to any part of the town. Travelling around town from point A to point B is only minutes apart normally.

So choice of hotels to me is primarily comfort above everything else.

Just my 2 cents.

Wow, topic getting hotter n hotter but good for bros venturing into those territory and need to see the dark side of it in Batam.

The worst nightmare is when ur hard earned money go to their 5 day week BF or Preman (rite on spelling hehehe). As most cowoks (men) are bumbs there coz they can't sell their dicks n cun get jobs. So in this case is the ceweks who gets them the dough.

The morale of the story is, how u found the cewek? As a Freelance? Karaoke? Disco? Massage? Or a hardworking girl in a shop who rejects ur advances all the time. If u can screw the bad ones, what the others? Some of u give peanuts to the gers, u can expect peanuts in return. I pity for those who give a lot more and neber enough. Good for those who managed to get out. Sad for those, who get debts mounting. Remeber, cost of living in Batam is high and I mean high.

Yes there are the good ones n not so easy to get and most likely will not be able to screw until married. The influence to open thier legs n get easy money is hard to reject with the f*ck type govt there and the corruption.

Me oso long time in this arena. Another lesson learnt is if u think by supplying money to them will keep them loyal to u, u r wrong. Coz if things get desperate, they know the next avenue and they won't think twice abt doing it again. Plus, long distance relationship will put a strain in u somehow, it will be a matter of time b4 u get tired and then regrets come in. Advise is, be a good customer that's all if u want to bang the same chick again n again. At least u know money well spent. Jus my 2 cents worth.

well true.. hotel paradize is quite old. i like it only because of the location. for maxi is quite new and nice. but not alot of places to go around. and i heard maxi is extending... so i suppose the hotel should be doing well. as for padi mas its use to be one of the best hotel in balai. but now also quite old. i think its still one of the most expensive hotel in balai.

ya true i agree with wat u say bro. its no point keeping a cewek there. NO POINTS. no matter how "gd hearted" ur cewek may be, she will still be influence by her friends. and its very hard to find a good one. even if u manage to find a gd one, by being not able to spend time with her often, she will meet and find someone else to acc her when u are not there. so very often the money u give to ur cewek will not be enough for the very fact that u are not onli feeding her. u are feeding her bf too. so if can just jump out of it soon. but i understand human have emotions, so if u go there bk a cewek, if u like her, just be nice to her when u bk her. tips her well if u like her service the next time u r there bk her again. its will be better these way.

Yes Padi Mas is a very old hotel and its located abit outside of the town. however it has a nice shopping centre nearby and as usual lots of food stalls and a sort of a hawker centre nearby too. Theres a good Bak Kut Teh stall nearby too...only sells in the morning tho if i remember correctly.

Padi Mas has also got its dark side...ghost stories abound about the 7th floor female ghost etc. For those bros who are long time cheongers in Balai i m sure you will have heard about these stories. For me, 10 years in Balai chionging i have been giving Padi Mas a miss because of all these Dark Side stories.

Anyway its only hear say so true or not i leave it to bros here to make their own judgement call.

alot of ceweks told me that padimas is haunted. padimas used to have jackpot, where most of the ceweks will hang ard there and gamble off their money. the hawker there really sucks, got alot of housefly and mosquito not adviseable to go there and eat alone cuz the vendor may take u as a carrot head n cut. the shopping centre is quite big and they have quite a few department to shop. y advise is to siam padimas go to hotel that is clean and good environment.

ya....after one damn blackout experience, i am not staying at padimas too....got the eerie feeling.......
