About 45min car ride.

Got many low cost KTV joints hahaha.

Can skip lah because if too fussy sure cannot choose any girl.

Price about the same as Desert Storm KTV at Longxi Town.

Chenjiang is really a backward town.
One thing good about Chenjiang is living costs are lower than Changping but less developed.
The roads are really crappy haha.

Thank you bro. Will add you on wechat shortly. Been hearing from friends about too many raids in Danshui and these news are making it very hard for us to if we should go or not? A couple of questions for the agents (and maybe some laojiao or residents in DS can assist in answering)
What happens when you are caught by the police during a raid in ds?
I have heard from some sources that the police will inform your family or your wife and even have your passport stamped with the piao ke word?
Do we have access to a phone call to seek assistance from a lawyer?
Last but not least, a very important question here for the agents, if we are caught in a raid, what can the agents do to help us?
I guess the above questions are crucial to our trip this coming oct. As we are all travelling for work purposes, getting into trouble of any kind would be disastrous.

Yup, very easy to asnwer your question.
Once you been caught, prepare RMB10k for quickie release, no stamped on passport etc. Cash, CC, Wechat Transfer all can make payment.
Which agent you engaged, you need to communicate and they will sure give you the advise. If you go yourself or ask driver or mummy to arrange, please ask them directly better. Diff people diff doing way, i cannot comment anything here.
If bro feel DS not safe to go, still have many places like SZ,GZ,Zhuhai,Foshan to go...

Agreed. Why go DS when you feel not safe? There is nothing there except KTV. Go to SZ or ZH is tons better. So many agents to assist you.

Yes selling point of Danshui is only KTV.
So those not into KTV can skip Danshui.

Ironically Danshui's selling point is Saunas (from ¥168 up) during its hey days!
