When taking the taxi to Harbour Bay from Nagoya, taxi driver demanded another 20k for entrance/car park charges on top of the agreed price at $40k. Gave me a very black face when I refused.

I've only book from this joint once, but so far, from those that I knew who have booked from them, girls attitude not bad and does not run. The price on the higher side though. Joint is Bunga Massage. Not say that they're the most reliable joint though as my experience with them is limited. On the single occasion that I gave them my business, the mami and some of the girls there specifically reminded her the booking is for till 2nd day morning.

Some shophouse massage centres (those not in hotel ones) don't do outcall but only do incall means you can only enjoy the massage at their premises.

Went to taiqi massage at Goodway hotel the previous time. The massage place are very clean and nice with Jacuzzi bath tub for mandi susu if you take the more higher end package. However the massage cewek said there is no extra service there, so I presume the extra service will only be available if it is done in your hotel room.

Goodway Taiqi massage room, Spa secret near The Hills or even Formosa Kings massage VIP room are all very clean, nicely renovated and with proper attached toilets.

In comparison, on the other hand, most of the 30 plus massage centres located at those 3 storey shop house near DC mall/ utama hotel like Chinatown, ala mayang, princess, asia tropical, best and better, hello kitty, etc looked damn rundown. I would like to comment on the disadvantage of all these joints

First - there is no WC and no basin for wash hand

Second - no proper bathroom just a bathtub

Third - mattress look damn dirty

Fourth - vip room located at highest floor third floor inconvenient

Fifth - majority of cewek quality is low

Sixth - The actual cewek differ very much from the photo album. Remember I chose one massage cewek from Chinatown. To my shocking surprise, came one fat girl even though she look 50% like photo.

Seventh - Some even ask for sex job before the massage begins machiam like very hard-up for money. Some will ask "abang mau kongkek tak" ? Some who knows bit of hokkien will ask "koko ai sio pu mai" ?

Here I learn something that I wish to share with brothers. When you go to a particular massage shop in DC mall or hotel utama areas, you will be given a photo album to choose a cewek:

If the photo only show the face of the cewek but do not show the body shape means that the cewek 90% chance is either plump or fat, I kenna twice already.

If the photo shows the side view or far away view of the cewek, it means that the cewek is below average look. (don't make it too clear for customer to see)

If the photo shows a heavy make-up face, the cewek is likely to be very different from the photo and could be ugly in looks.

The experience photographer engaged by these joints will know how to take picture of the big, fat, old or ugly girl and make them look nice in the album.

Therefore do not trust the album 100% for those joints at the DC mall areas.

However. Formosa king's massage and abi massage girls look more like in the photo album. 80% look alike

And today,i will NEVER be able to rewrite them again becos i am no longer,a newbie in Batam.

1. I book Formosa on a weekday from online,i reach Harbour Bay. I get a taxi,try to bargain to 30k but the driver die die wants 50k (or maybe 60k). I go to another driver,tried again still fail. So i dont really have a choice but to take the taxi at 50k/60k to Formosa Hotel. No,i dont need to ask the current taxi driver who already "chop" me once when i took his service from Harbour Bay to Formosa Hotel for a full day taxi usage and especially not from one that is so hard up becos i know if i have further transaction with this "guy",every other things thereafter will never come cheap.

2. I reach early in Formosa,its on weekday...i wont know if i am able to check in when i reach early,but during the room booking online,i would likely have read that checking in time should normally be 2pm indo time (3pm for Sillypore time and if hotel has enough rooms,they actually allow guests to check in as early as 12pm or at times much earlier) I stay around,walk around,maybe talk to everyone around me since 100% of Formosa Hotel staffs speaks English,some even speaks Chinese. If there is a nono1973 during my time who wrote a Batam travelling guide,i will likely be talking to the Bell Boy after following his postings,hehehe...or if i really need help,i will PM nono1973 via hotel wifi.Anyway,just hang around until close to check in time.

3. Checked in time likely to be 1pm at worst baseon current experience. Check the room,lie around,play with the taps,lights and TVs. More importantly,hotel's wifi...well,since its free,so why not just play with it. Come to SBF,log in and ask in the Batam Info thread for the next possible step to do.

Alternatively,you may have notice just outside the hotel,there are MANY TAXIS (which is at the hotels's disposal). I am a newbie,its my 1st trip,i have no confidence to travel alone,i need a taxi guide for whole day. Cool,since i am newbie,i am 1st timer,i approach the receptionist (or if i read Nono1973's guide,i approach the Bellboy). Booking a taxi from reception will cost more,say 500k/day? (i am 1st timer ma,next time once i get the taxi driver's HP number,i wont have to pay so much liao) Getting the bell boy to help you will bypass the hotel commission and pay lesser which i also dont know how much,but a small tip to bell boy will go a long way if i plan to return to stay.

Yet another alternative,ask the receptionist to dial me a Blue Bird Taxi stated in Nono1973's cheong List. There we go,i will get a cheap taxi,this is definitely guaranteed to be one of the cheapest option (or fairest) available since they are running by meter. Get the taxi driver to bring me to get an indo sim card for sms,communicate with the driver and GET his number.

4. Before i start travelling on the taxi,most likely i would already know where i wish to go. I usually have my itinerary ready. For a beginner,i wont be greedy,i want to go to the 5 major joints (Gold Bird,Bunga,New Berry,Permata and Happy 8) with the most number of girls in Batam to choose girl,i want to have lunch,i also want dinner. Maybe even shopping or movie at night until next morning send me back to Harbour to head to Sillypore.

5. Massage is at the 4th floor of Formosa hotel if not enough confident,KTV at the same floor. Provision also at the hotel downstairs too. More massage shops just opposite the Hotel,food court Indo rasa directly behind Relax Massage. Even Money changer is opposite the Hotel.

6. Shopping wise,just read the Batam travelling guide again to locate Nagoya Hill Mall from Formosa Hotel. This mall is big enough to kill at least few hours of my time.

All in all,i will ONLY make one mistake from the above 6 points. Thats the 500k taxi fare for the whole day. But well,i am a newbie or 1st time traveller to Batam,come on...one mistake for now and forever i wont have a chance to make it again. So is the 500k worth? My taxi is from the hotel,so it is afterall a little more reliable than Harbour's taxis,and if in the event there is anything not right,who do i look for? hehehe...you know,i know..everybody knows. The hotel of course!

Safety 1st. And dont worry too much on budget as it will still be within the budget spending i quoted on your last year's post during May 2014 (i do read back a lot):

Solution : Put a Do Not Disturb sign outside the door knob in future to inform them not to make up your room or better still ,inform reception of your late check out. I will do both tho,hehehe...kiasu ma...lol.

See,here's why i wanted you to read on. I told you Nagoya Spa and Massage is a better place earlier,but they will cost more due to the ambience and the better personal touch service provided. Occasionally also have...errr...hehehehehe...try a few more time and you will know.

If only you stayed in Formosa,massage places during that point of time are just within small walking distance away. Relax Massage for foot reflexology by men,a stone throw away? Nagoya Spa and massage,1.5 stone throw away. King massage whether for foot or body is only a phone call away,hehehe...not forgetting Linda Massage and Bridge massage are just round the corner within 1 or 1.5 stone throw away too.

Keep this in mind,there is no such thing as a reliable driver in Batam or a reliable OKT. My summaries already says it many times,any taxi drivers i used were all "unreliable".

Walking around is the best way to boost one's confident in Batam. I met bros here from my group trips who didnt even DARE to walk in into a booking joint w/o company. There is always a 1st time for everything,its only a matter of getting used to it.

In my solo trip days,i walked.i visit booking joints,dwell in them for hours. I source for solutions. I dont have to visit all the joints in a single day,i usually goes 3D2N,so i divide the joints i plan to visit by 2. Moreover,there will always be next trip. I always remind myself,hehehe... God only give me one dick,and there are many girls in Batam i wish to bonk. Take one step a time when you are new. i know which are the 5 major joints,stick to this 2-3 out of 5 for now and save the rest for other days.

In my 1st day of my 1st Batam trip,i only visit one joint,hehehe...and got a big fat girl. 1 of the thing i feel i can be a little different from others is when i am in a situation or be face with a problem,i learn to seek a solution (or 2) instead of blaming (not referring to you),hehehe... what i share about Batam in this thread are just personal experience meant for sharing, learning purposes and at most time they are my "side notes" for my own future Batam trip reference. Anyone willing to pick up my experience to use it in their Batam trip is entirely up to them.

It will be out usually about 7 to 10 days before the actual trip and there are no monetary charges,just read my terms and conditions,agree to it and send me an intro of yourself (age group,race,your experience in Batam etc) to me AFTER my itinerary is out on Sept 2015. But i need to say this beforehand,due to limited car seats,i am unable to accept everyone who PM-ed me during those time.I can only pick those who shares the closest frequency with everyone who are in. If you are not the chosen one,it does not mean you are not good or anything. There will always be group trips on Oct,Nov,Dec and Jan 2016,like the rest of the previous months.

I usually will tell people that if no one comes,at most i just run solo which i enjoyed better,but this coming trip will again be a little different from my last few other group trips.I cannot say i will run solo anymore becos i already have a confirmed 1+1 at the point of this post,hehehe... Its suppose to be my "blessed trip" (unlike my 19th trip on Aug that is suppose to be "cursed"),so i am planning a little bigger in group size,perhaps combining both Private group with Newbie Learning group together. Nothing is confirm yet.

My usual objective,we go together,we learn together and then we can all grow together. Be it in this thread or in Batam.

Bro, i wouldnt say goldbird is the most reliable but the few more reliable joints are goldbird, bunga (since many gals were fr goldbird haha) or permata. Relatively higher chance of run-away gals usually from MM or indah2.

But then again I always believe luck is a huge factor, not everyone has the same luck. There are surely a mix of good & bad gals in every joint but u wont know it until u try it tats when luck comes in haha.

hi bro, yeah after reading all the review, i figure that mostly reliable is goldbird (+ many muda ) than bunga (many milf) oso permata (syt many but not so reliable, as from feedback more problematic with toopiak (stupid + piak) reasons to run away)

Personally if I stay at sekupang area, I'll just rather stay in. And it is not a smart choice to stay there if you plan to visit all the "happenings" in batam.

Alternatively, you drop off at harbourbay, pick your match and go to your "sekupang" resorts and just enjoy yourself. Focus on the girl.

I already booked my hotel. Da vienna sounds like a good hotel from the reviews and FR here. But I already found a comfy hotel to stay in. So most of my visits will be to that hotel. And I dun plan to get any joint girls, cos I always come prepared on what to do there. Joint girls are always, last resort for me.
