Getting infected with Covid is not the issue.

Getting Covid and becoming ill enough to land up in hospital, worse still ICU and worse of all up the lorry are the big issues.

Vaccination is not a cure for Covid, but if it helps to reduce the hospitalisation and death rates to a reasonably manageable level like say the Flu than I think we should be able to return to pre-covid mode of living.

Interesting to see what happens next once 70% of our population has been vaccinated, better yet if a third booster dose is given.

Singapore cannot survive in the long term without opening up. End of the day we need to find a reasonable manageable balance and learn to live with Covid together with any other new viruses and other issues.
