Yes I using this plan from Starhub....below $100 per month with 680mins free to 14 countries, dont know all of them but got China, Thailand, HK & US included which is good enough for me. Used up then its 15cents per min same as local calls.

Calling from China to Singapore

Good news !!!!

The lastest...For China Mobile user using the 神洲行 and 全球通card in Guang Dong.
Most visitors to China ll use the 神洲行card.


Calling back to Spore cost only 0.38rmb per minute ie. abt S$0.08 per minute all in.

009 and U1 cards have connection charge. Be aware!

callback cards do have the pause for 1 second prob when talking!
but at the price and since will callback,thus free on our ph,no complains.

For callback cards, it is kind of an extra step to wait for the callback to come. It will somehow change a bit of your calling pattern.

However, you can also make local calls using those cards. It will be best used for those who had exceeded your original plan by a lot, such as $29 plan and you were paying like $70 to $100, unless the bill is wholly paid by company.

Some IDD cards charge a connection fee on top of the per min charge, meaning when u dial the overseas no and there was a successful connection, they will charge say $0.20, and let's say they advertise tat china no is $0.03 cents n u talk for less than 1 min, the effective rate u pay is still $0.23.

its quite a scam. avoid such cards if possible. always ask if got connection fees b4 u buy the card.

Yes, I agree on what bro kenho says. Unless you are calling long enough, say 40 to 50 mins, maybe it is worth it. For example, if the card is stating 1000 mins for China compared to 600 mins without connection charge, then something must be wrong there.

dear all
from my personal advice, avoid the phoneix card ! it looks reasonable at surface- S$8 per card but when u get yr starhub or singtel bill @ month end- u will geta heart attack! i avoid it now at all costs and jsut subsribe to starhub to make overseas calls.

if u dont want, just get the singtel card & make 019 calls... less troublesome

if you are using fixed line to call China, then it is all rite to use Phoenix card. Otherwise the calling price will be charged together with your air time from your subscription plan.
