Re: Tui Na going to be History Soon...
Something new will in time come out to replace these
TN joints. In what form we have to wait and see, certain things like basic instinct can never be keep down for long. Who can foresee that after 50yrs of communism in China, today the best female company one can have are PRC syts and PDMMamas. |

Re: Tui Na going to be History Soon...
Actually there are a lot of masseur previously from TN now doing outcalls. Tried some from yahoo ads. Heard that they are previously from TN but due to regulations, they are now doing in hotel instead. Charges are also similiar, $60 for HJ inclusive of massage n room charges. I believe after regulation kicks in we would see more of this mobile TN.

Re: Tui Na going to be History Soon...
It's a matter of national interest (unfortunately our interests not included bros... hehe). It pains me, but this is what I think....
Public opinion: Governments everywhere, have always practised some form or level of tolerance to prostitution. It's the oldest profession in the world, and at any given moment in Singapore, as in elsewhere, it has and will always exist. Legally or otherwise. However, it must never cause any inconvenience or annoyance to the general public. I believe the local authorities do in fact try to close an eye when it comes to these illicit activities. As long as it stays contained and quiet. It is, afterall, still a social taboo. Admittedly, Tui Nas and PRC involvement did spiral a little out of control, and people began to talk and question (further exacerbated by The New Paper of course). If it continues, it will invariably affect public opinion about the issue, and ultimately, public opinion about the creadibility of the government. A country can never have strong, reliable economic fundamentals if its people do not fiundamentally believe in, and back their leaders. In the case of small island Singapore, it's even more crucial for us to provide the gov with undoubting, unconditional backing (or as close to it as possible). Singapore would have never progessed as much as it did if there were Doubting Thomases in the ranks. And I don't think we can't take any risk of having any. World Bank meeting This is, to me (and as many bros also mentioned), definitely a major reason attributing to the rapid crackdown and closure of Tui Nas islandwide. But it does make sense (how I wished it weren't true!). There will be an unprecedented 16,000 delegates coming here. The political influencers, the movers and shakers, the Captains of industry... These are just about the most important people in the global scheme of things. These people, or the people they represent, have shaped the world as we know it today. And will again tomorrow. There is no doubt that the gov will be leveraging on this. This meeting will be a springboard to more lucrative foreign investments (word is they're really going for this), more geo-political presence (very important for strategic alliances and trade), and to project strong (and positive) brand image. 16,000 dignitaries walking around the country will, and must, only see Singapore as modern, professional, upright, credible and effcient. Cute, big-tits, creamy soft skinned China babes coaxing "Yao ji mah?" isn't quite part of the equation, I'm afraid. Sure, it may be a small risk, but having a world meeting as important as this, do you think we can risk taking any risks? The clean up will happen - swiftly, efficiently and completely. After this milestone event in Singapore, however, perhaps the authorities will again tolerate our occasional earthly pleasures. Cheers PS.To all of our sexy PRC babes, I'd like to say this... take a break and stay low sweeties. And I will see you again.... in a bit. |
